Adorably Small, Amazingly Mighty
I purchased this new mini pc, the 89HS 2TB variant and my hope for purchasing this computer was to serve three purposes. I wanted to be able to play the latest games, be able to quickly charge my smartphone and tablet, and have an HDMI-to-HDMI video and audio connection because with my last mini pc, I did not do my research and ended up buying a computer that only had DisplayPort and as such had to use a HDMI to DisplayPort adapter. Being that integrated graphics are not ideal for playing the latest high demanding games, I knew that i had to buy a computer with a very fast processor and fast memory and as such is how I decided on getting this PC. The games that I have tried on it so far put a heavy load on this PC as the fan kicks in and there is some slow down after playing for a while, but it does not take away from being able to enjoy the games for me. The fan is not loud at all, and the PC gets very hot especailly during gaming sessions but as stated the slowdown is not that bad in which it would take away from the enjoyment of playing the games for me. I did a clean install of Windows 11 23h2 using a USB flash drive and it appears as this pc is using drivers that are not very well known as I had to go to the Geekom website to get the missing drivers. I am using a 1080p TV that I have this pc connected to and as such have no interest in higher resolution gaming. This pc has three USB ports that support power delivery but one of them, which uses a USB A connector does not seem to work for charging, but it could be that I need a proper USB A to C charging cable. So, in the end, while this computer can play the latest games at 1080p on medium graphics setting, I would not consider this to be a gaming pc for the reason that it runs very hot when gaming as well as there being some slowdown and that is my biggest concern with this pc as I will be using it to play games. The good thing is that it does come with a three-year warranty, so I hope not to have any issue should I need to send it in within three years for any problem that may arise. I highly recommend this PC for anyone who is looking for something small and powerful.

Absolute amazing PC for a Plex server build.
Simply amazing. If you are in the market for a Plex server this is a must. The speeds are incredible and the build is great. Such a small form factor, really worth the money. I also must say I had to contact support and they are more than responsive and made sure I was completely satisfied, they are so good i will buy another PC soon.

Cool, quiet, solid build quality. Great value.
Problem free for first week. Very quiet and runs cool even with Adobe organizer running image searches and facial recognition on over 10k photos. No problems running vmware Workstation with any of my virtualized images (mostly linux). I did flash the bios before letting windows setup run just in case because of the windows update issues (microsoft problem not restricted to this hardware).I bought two of these, both great, no problems.

Update 1/12/24 :Very Loud Fan that runs ALL of the time
The build quality and performance is very good. My only complaint is the fan runs ALL of the time and is very loud. I even went into the BIOS and set the fan to "quiet mode" and I seriously cannot tell a difference. There never is a time this fan is not running and very loudly. I am floored how loud this device is. Very disappointed in that.I was going to use it connected to my home theatre but the fan never stops and is so loud I can hear it even when watching TV. Drives me nuts.I had to move it to my home office so it does not distract everyone watching tv.If you were planning on having this hooked up to your AVR or TV I would not recommend it unless I just got one that has an issue but this fan is horribly loud and absolutely NEVER stops running.EDIT: Tried emaling GEEKOM at their support since the entire purpose of this purchase was to use it as a Plex Server and it is WAY too loud. Anyway, I got a response from their technical support that just said "We are not seeing that you purchased this from us as we do not have your email in our system".I responded that I purchased on Amazon and gave the order number and serial number and have not received anything back.I already have an INTEL nuc for a Plex media server that has 20 TB of external Hard drives attached for my 4K movie and TV Show libary. It works great and is very quiet.I wanted this to house my Plex Music Library on a seperate server as the specs were about the same as the Intel NUC and a few hundred dollars cheapers. However, if I would have had any idea how loud this thing is I would have gladly paid the extra money for another Intel NUC.I even moved this to my home office but I just had to turn it completely off as the noise drives me nuts even in my home office. No idea if I just got a bad unit but while it works I cannot stand to have it on as even when not in use the Fan is heard easily from other rooms. It is terribleEDIT: GEEKOM sent me a bios update to extract with instructions to format a USB drive as FAT32 (which I did), extract all of the files sent to me on to the root of the USB drive (I did) boot up the device and hit F7 to bring up the boot manager (I did), select the USB drive with the bios files on it (I do) but as soon as I select the USB drive and hit enter it never tries to boot it just goes immediately up to the top of the boot manager where is asks to select a drive. I select the boot drive and that boots up but when I select the USB drive and hit enter nothing happens, no errors, no attempt at booting into the bios update etc. No idea if anyone else has had any success updating their bios. Every other manufactures (Dell, HP, Intel NUC) all have you simply download an executable, run it, the system reboots and auto updates your bios. I have not seen a manufacturer have bios updates like this for nearly 15-20 years. Outdated and you cannot even download the bios from their site, only sent via email.Again, the unit works fine except for how incredibly loud it is. I suspect with the fan running non stop this will start having issues in 1-2 years. I should have bought another Intel Nuc but this was several hundred dollars cheaper with the same specs.EDIT: I upped the rating to 4 based on customer support going above trying to help me with the noise issue. I am still not satisfied with the noise level of this device but it works fine. I appreciate the effort customer support gave me.EDIT: 1/12/24 I kept searching online to see if anyone had any solutions for the noise issue as other than that this unit is fantastic. I found someone mention that bios version EC.0.20 fixed their issue. The version I had received earlier that helped some was EC.0.16. I got the EC.0.20 bios update and that has made a TREMENDOUS difference. The unit now when idle is completely quiet. Before even when idle and nothing running the fan was going full speed.I recommend anyone still having issues contact Geekom and ask for the January bios update EC.0.20.I hope it works as well for you as it has myself.EDIT: 2/3 Updating my review to 5 stars. Ever since the BIOS update I mentioned in my last update not only has the unit been whisper quiet, I see no performance difference and the unit is still cool to the touch. Could not be happier now.
