Bose New SoundLink Max Portable Speaker, Large Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker, Up to 20 Hours of Battery Life, USB-C, Built-in 3.5mm AUX Input, Black

Have been using for last two months now. I was initially skeptical to buy this for 40+K but made up my mind when I saw it was coming for few K less. I initally brought this thinking I predominatly use to replace the speakers which I use to play my music but I was pleasently surprised by the range of this speaker. It definetly ticks all the boxes to play music with clear sound, good bass and trebble, fills the room/not a uni-directional speaker and does not flatter even at high volumes. Where it surprised it is, I was testing connecting it to my apple tv bluetooth which generally plays over my 5.1 speaker setup and it almost performed very close to what get from that system. I now also it use it in my bedroom TV which is connected to Amazon fire TV stick and it enhances a lot the movie watching exp compared to wathcing over a old Sony TV audio. Like someone said in other reviews, the sound actually becomes better over time as you play and it grows on you. The only downside it is not a party speaker and mostly works wonders Indoor. Outdoor is pretty decent but cannot replace those boom boxes. Must buy if you are OK with its high price tag.

It was my longtime wish to buy Bose Bluetooth speaker. And then I saw the new release on Prime Day and purchased this New Soundlink. It is amazing product with very good built quality. The sound quality is amazing and the Bass output is super. Worth the price they charge.

I have owned all Bose Speakers at this level since 2017. I own a few Marshall and Sonos also. I depend on Bose because they make some very good value for money products in their line up such as Bose Flex, Bose Revolve Plus 2 (my first gen still works fine after 7 years..) and so on. When I saw a promo of this speaker, I knew I wanted it. I wanted something to rival the Stanmore, the bose home speaker 500 or even the Woburn by Marshall.1. The packaging is ok, nothing too fancy2. comes with just a usb c cable and that is ok3. Came with 30% juice but had to be plugged in for 10 seconds to stir it awake4. Setup took less than 2 mins with bose music app (signed out from email, no registration required)5. Within 20 seconds of playing the first song, I knew this was the most impressive big sound speaker I have ever heard.6. I charged it too 100% from 30% and that took roughly 2-3 hours.7. Played a bunch of music and everything was booming so I went to the Bose Music app and reduced bass with a preset setting. Things looked better.8. Later played a lot of music by Sia and realised this is a major step up from any other speaker.Pros - big sound, small form factor, comfortable silicone finish with perfect build quality, good battery life, you can charge your devices too with this and use it as a power bank, supposed to have a 20 hour battery life, great form factor, Durable, classy (black), aux option, priced perfectlyCons - Bass is boomy and I'm not a bass headConclusion - I heard some 30-40 songs in my first day of usage and even used it for gym (I workout at home with trainer) and I was satisfied.Suggestion - Just buy it. No need to demo.Who should not buy it? Someone who needs things to be 100 out of 100 on day 1. Bose speakers grow on you. And grow on you. Amazing product with great battery life

Clarity, large sound stage, impactful bass… battery back is little disappointing. Overall a good listening experience.

Sound quality and Bluetooth connectivity coverage is very good. Quite heavy but for longer life is much needed.
