The adjustable width and height are fantastic, offering plenty of customisation to suit my height and different exercises. Having multiple height options for both the bar racks and the safety spotters gives me confidence when lifting heavier.The H-shaped base definitely contributes to the overall stability. It feels solid and secure, which is crucial when you're loading up the barbell. The double locking system with the U-shaped pins and spring knobs adds an extra layer of safety, ensuring the barbell stays firmly in place. The heavy-duty steel construction is evident in how robust the rack feels. It can comfortably handle a significant amount of weight, making it suitable for both beginners and more experienced lifters. It feels like it's built to last. I found this squat rack too difficult to construct, even when following the instructions.The problem lies in the nuts and bolts, which are hard to tighten unless you have the right tools. This set, unlike other home gym kits on the market, does not come with the tools required to construct it, so you need your own.If you don’t have the tools, skill, or strength to secure the bolts tightly, then this rack wobbles terribly and is unusable. I don’t know why it’s been designed with this obvious flaw (long bolts and nuts that don’t easily tighten all the way).Finally, I’m not pleased with the condition the parts arrived in. The chrome metal parts were already scratched, but pretty badly. It looks like they were dragged along asphalt. I have attached photos to show. Overall, the lack of quality control is disappointing.

Really impressed with this for the price point. Two standalone squat bars, which means they are adaptable and easy to move around and easy to integrate with other bits of gym equipment. Strong sturdy material, really tough stuff. Easy enough to figure out the instructions, but the nyloc nuts are really tough to get tightened, you definitely need two spanners or ratchet set. I did struggle at first to get the nyloc's tigthened, however, that does give you peace of mind that once connected, it works well and is sturdy. As two freestanding bars, it lacks some stability but seems strong enough. All round good addition to my home gym, I can fit it around other stuff and its the right height for most men. The storage capacity for weight plates is a good touch.

This is a well made and solid squat rack. It is easy to set up and is easily adjustable using pins to adjust it to the right height. It is possible to use this for a range of exercises, such as squats, and using for bench press. With this potentially being used with heavy weight, it is important that it feels solid and it definitely does. This is a great item and looks good.
