The Annotated Great Gatsby: 100th Anniversary Deluxe Edition

Excellent edition. Scholarship - preface, annotations, letters, and chronology - is brilliant, as is Towles’ Introduction. The text sharpness and photo quality are also really impressive (tons of color photos and text). Only complaint is that the pages are a little thin, and you can see through them; it’s not nearly as bad as an anthology or anything like that, but it’s worth mentioning. Still, five stars without a doubt. Any fan of the original novel will really enjoy this edition.

My daughter English graduate and masters in library science loved this gift! Illustrations are beautiful and it is full of history. Great birthday gift!

This is a beautifully produced book with pictures of the era and great literary analysis. I bought 4 copies as gifts and all 4 people were thrilled.
