These are really great ear buds. My old Jabras only worked for the right ear if you used only one. Now, if the battery dies, I can just use the left, and put the right back in the charging case.They tune out sound really well in ANC mode, yet I can hear everything around me well when I have ANC off. I’ve fallen asleep while wearing them, and they worked great as earplugs, when my husband snores! I love the texture of the buds and case. Speaking of the case, it’s really cool that I can hook the case to the computer at work when I need to watch a work video, and listen to the video in the earbuds wirelessly.

Amazing, waterproof and the battery is great. The best headphones to workout in.

I've tried a ton of different wireless headsets. I had the 7 elite active and it was nice but didn't sound great and battery wasn't as good. Beat fit pro didn't stay in ears while working. Never cared for any of the galaxy buds. Bose sport were huge. This list can keep going hahaha.Music and youtube playback is great. Never have an issue with sound. Haven't had any issues with disconnecting from bluetooth as of now. I'm in voice comms a lot and I always come in loud and clear. Wind is an issue but wind is an issue for any headset. The most important part for me is they just stay in while working. I have a physical job and I hit the gym I don't have to constantly readjust them because they are falling out. Others if I use an impact the vibration is making them fall out. The elite is my favorite line because of this and the 8 improves on the short comings of the 7. Battery life and disconnects.

I purchased these to replace my Sony WF-1000XM4, what really drew me to these was the 3.5mm adapter functionality. I had just come off of a flight, where they did not have bluetooth for the headrest TVs, and thought I would get a ton of use from this feature. Of course, every flight I've been on since, has had bluetooth, so I haven't really gotten a chance to test that functionality yet.The other draw was the great reviews about the noise cancellation and voice clarity, as I primarily use them for my work calls, and my dog likes to bark in the background from time to time. Noise cancellation and clarity have been ok. I think my Sony buds were a little better as far as voice clarity. People tend to hear me better when I'm using those, but no major issues. I still come in clear with these.My favorite feature, that I didn't know about when i purchased them, is also the reason for deducting a star, and that is the ability to mute/unmute the call directly from the right earbud. I love it because I am always walking around while on my zoom calls, and can mute/unmute right from the earbud, instead of sprinting from the coffee machine back to my computer to hit unmute so I can respond to a question. Now, the reason I deducted a star is because when you mute/unmute from the earbud too many times, it starts randomly muting and unmuting by itself. No idea why. Maybe it's defective, maybe it's a firmware issue, don't know, but at some point I couldn't unmute myself, and had to change my input device while everyone was waiting for me to respond. Now, I'm a bit traumatized and use the mute/unmute from the earbud much more sparingly.Another thing, I read that the Jabra's are better at switching between devices, so I was excited to have them paired to my phone and computer at the same time. Unfortunately, as soon as I get a call on my phone, the mic gets tied to the phone and will not switch back to the PC, unless I disconnect and reconnect them. Had the same issues with the Sony's, but was hoping Jabra actually handled it better.Lastly, not a big fan of the battery life. The Sony earbuds lasted the full 8 hour work day+, the Jabra's get around 6 hours.

BE AWARE: IT IS NOT THIER WARRANTY: the statements about military grade durability and "won't slip out of war" are totally marketing statements and has nothing to do with their actual product or warranty. I bought the jabra 8 gen 2 active not more than a couple of weeks ago, while I was happily working out, the right earbud fell out of the ear due to sweat and my dubbell dropped on it at the same time (35lb). The ear bud has a crack now and jabra says this is not under warranty. Quality of sound is great, this was my 5th jabra product, but I was always under the impression "non-slip" and "durable", well they are not! So buy this by all means just know that the claims of durability and non-slip are not under "product discription" but only a marketing tool.Another statement: "workout as hard as you want" "they won't slip" "military grade durability"This must be a violation of a state's deceptive trade practices act.Now they are asking me to buy a new one by saying that "jabra are durable and nonslip, but the warranty does not cover that". They should be allowed this product to market it in that manner than because that creates a public perception (deception) of non-slip and durability.
