These are solar powered motion activated security lights. They have several settings that allows one to tailor the light for a particular use. I set mine to detect 20 to 30 feet out and stay on for 15-20 seconds when its dark. They are quite bright.

Replaced an electric motion light, very bright - this light is milky, not bright, barely enough to cover the walkway - so much for solar power - will go back to an electric light

Same light at Costco but they were out
I bought 6 of these and love them. They are bight and three of them in our back yard light it up like the field of dreams.Easy to setup and fantastic options for time on. Delay, and sensibility. The sensor is also spot on once you figure it out. Trick is aim higher
