The solar battery is a game changer! I had to return the one I bought without a solar battery just for that reason. The remote is convenient, and it's so nice that it's easy to pack away. When you have gear that's hard to use/takeout or putaway, you're more likely to never use it again but this makes it so easy and cozy that I feel silly not bringing it. I use it for car camping, and tent decorating. I have one for inside the tent and outside and between the battery life, and it's solar power keeping it strong, you don't have to worry about it dying (at least on the glow function that I use). I even gave one to my friends for their patio cause it's so fun to have.

I love them they work great. Also was happy that it has solar charging and I can charge it regularly as well. I wrapped it around the inside off my tent and it gives off just enough light at night.

Mostly great. Just 2 small hickups
I would say 5 star 2 thing. I noticed that some of the LEDs are brighter and more white thans others. Not sure how well the pictures will reflect it but there are several in the line that are really bright and only very few i think i counted 4 of them that seem slightly dimmer than the normal amber LEDs. Also 1 LED so far has died after 30M of use with the main light and string light on. The cool thing is atleast the lights after still work and its not like christmas lights were 1 goes out all the lights after dont turn on due to the broken circuit.I would message the company but i do not see a contact seller button in my order page.

Awesome
We took this to Burning Man and it worked great! The solar battery filled during the day, so the lights stayed on all night without an issue. Great product for camping in sunny areas.

Solar charging takes way too long and it doesn't stay wound up
In order to charge this by solar, it takes a very long time, so it wouldn't make sense to charge it that way. Also, it keeps wanting to unwind itself.

Perfect for camping and nice on balcony patio at home
Solar charging is great when camping. Automatically turn on as dusk, and after a day of hunting, it is really nice to come back to a lighted camp. Maybe not enough to read by, but not fall over a rock and can cook with them.

Portable, good charge,nice ambiance
Bought for RV trip with some boondocking. Love the solar charge that last long. Works okay to charge phone. Many settings for brightness. Cute and functional. Seems pretty durable.
