I already had a very nice setup (in my opinion). Capable of seamless, top notch, audio and video play back. The only issue was my TV did not have eARC, just ARC and I wasn't getting SUPERIOR audio pass-thru because of this...This product, not only resolved the issues, but it was insanely easy to setup and I could tell the difference immediately! The only adjustment I needed to make was for audio video sync, it was about 100ms off and I could only tell while staring directly at a mouth during dialogues. (Easy to fix with most playback devices)I think the only thing I dislike about this device is that I need to have the IR receiver plugged in to use it, which is actually a good thing for most people - you can hide the brick and only see the red bug (IR receiver).Extraction is amazing and I was able to toggle to 7.1 Atmos. Even listening to music has improved with a chorus of violins or cellos that I never noticed before while listening to a pop song. 👍I don't believe this device support auto switching, but it's fine the remote has 2 buttons... The function is absolutely fantastic, and while I would have preferred to be more in the $40 range, for the results I got the value for the cost is certainly there.

This HDMI 2.1 switch is fantastic! It easily handles switching between my PS5 and Apple TV on my TV without any loss in quality. The setup was simple, and the included remote makes switching inputs convenient. I love that it supports eARC and bypasses HDCP without issues. The device works perfectly fine on consoles like the Xbox Series X and PS5 when connected to my Denon 7.1.4 channel home theater system. You can play with Dolby Atmos, 4K at 120Hz, and VRR by connecting it to my OLED C2 TV.I tested it on my Samsung Odyssey G9 OLED monitor, and it works at a resolution of 5120x1440p, It is compatible with G-Sync, but the color depth is 8 bits at 120Hz with Dolby Atmos (the Dolby app needs to be purchased), which was a bit disappointing because it supposedly has 48GB bandwidth on the device's HDMI, but it doesn't reach 10-bit color depth or 240Hz. It seems like the device doesn't actually have a real HDMI 2.1 port.

The extractor fails to send audio to receiver from pc correctly and constantly requires reconnecting the hdmi cables.

We have a Hisense TV, Sonos soundbar and satellite speakers.This switch box works PERFECTLY. I'm not sure what else to say other than it works!

The 8k Hz support on this HDMI 2.1 switch appears to be limited to YCbCr420, i.e. chroma 4:2:0, which means that the luminance information is 8k, but the colour information is only 4k. The problem appears in both 60 Hz and 30 Hz, with the result that the switch is okay for video, but isn’t really useable for PCs or other devices that require full 8k support.To confirm the problem was with the switch, I tried multiple HDMI cables, all of which work for direct connections, and with switches that support full chroma.Given the lack of support for 8k with full chroma, I can’t recommend this device for anyone looking for an 8k HDMI switch, with or without audio extraction.
