Awesome leg extension for home gym! Full ROM
I chose this product without a single review because it had a cable to load the weight across the full ROM instead of only when gravity could affect the weight like the other popular machines in this price range. Just made sense intuitively.I also liked that you can slide in and out of the machine without taking off a leg pad (although I don’t use that anyway so not sure that would have mattered). The leg pad could be a little lower for me (6’2”) by an inch or two but the padding itself is adequateSwitching between quads and hammies is super easy and fluid. Pins have good springs and feel secure.Instructions for assembly are easy to follow with good pictures. Everything is well labeled in the parts box. I used a drill and wrench but a ratchet would help too.Overall it’s a 4.8. It does have a few cheaper parts like the end cap on the weight bar (probably not going to last more than another few uses) and seat covers are cheap vinyl stuff. But for home use is 1000% awesome, especially when you only want to use it for 2 exercises. I have no reservations about recommending it.

It’s okay quality, superior design
With the lever arm, the strength curve seems a lot better than the other options for plate loaded combo. It’s not packaged well so mine was pretty chipped and scratched up, had a few dents, the box was pretty beat up and inside the box most things were everywhere. Just some plastic wrapping and thin foam sheets laid inside. If you’re tall then the pad hits in the shin area, but it’s not that bad. I’m 6’1” and it’s fine. The pad itself is okay, getting heavy it’s a little uncomfortable. My leverage arm is slightly misaligned but doesn’t affect it functionally, yet. I have a feeling the alignment will cause issues with the pulley at some point. The steel is pretty thin gauge, and the pop pin holes aren’t reinforced, so that could also be a problem in the future. Pads are comfortable, and the movement from extensions to curls is simple. It only took me an hour to put together. Overall I would recommend it, because for the price I think it’s one of the better options. But I think there is a lot of room for improvement.

Great Design Concept Let Down by Build Quality
I had high hopes for this machine, and in some ways, it delivers. The fundamental design shows promise - the resistance curve feels good and provides resistance throughout the movement. However, the execution falls disappointingly short. The main issue lies in the structural integrity when handling heavier weights. The arm and pulley system develop noticeable play and twisting under load. After a few months of ownership, I've found myself gravitating away from using it. While it might be a good fit for those lifting lighter weights, anyone looking to train heavy should look elsewhere.

Great Machine with One Trick
I've had this machine for about a month. I love the leg curls, especially with the range of resistance afforded by the cable. My major issue is that with the normal setup, leg extensions start resisting when my leg is bent at about 100 degrees, instead of 80 degrees, limiting the range of motion. I've found that if I pull out the arm that rests against my shin and put it on backwards (see pictures) I get the full desired range. Whenever I change between curls and extensions I have to make the change. It takes about 45 seconds to unscrew and flip the arm but, since I only do one of extension or curls on any given day, its not that big of a deal. Please note that I am 6'4" so this might not be an issue for everyone.

Mediocre quality, great design
The design is great. The cable really keeps the resistance more consistent than when the weight is on the leg arm. However the steel is cheap and the parts are poor quality. All in all it gets the job done for a fair price.

Pleasantly surprised!
Wow this machine is great! We bought this to replace and old leg extension machine and we were impressed! This is ergonomically correct for both leg extensions and leg curls. It flips easily from one exercise to another. It is solidly built especially for the price! It does require a little skill to put together but it’s not difficult. It was packaged well and delivered on time. We were pleased with this machine.

Updated review 01/29/2025
Updated review: let me start by saying Great customer service. my first machine was returned after common issues with the first generation of this leg machine. I was told I would get another machine free of charge and the updated version (v3) that would not present the same issues. I received machine promptly but it was the same model I previously had. I tried to make due but after having the machine for 3 months the alignment for the leverage arm has completely shifted and the weld on the support arm to where the pulley is mounted had broken and rendered the machine useless since it is not safe. Unfortunately I am o-2 with this product and would not recommend.

Great design, with some flaws
The media could not be loaded. In theory, this should be great. And it mostly was. It provides a consistent resistance through the range of motion, which is a major point of contention with other home gym options which have no resistance at the bottom and a lot at the top. This works great in that regard. It has a very quick and easy transition to hamstring curls as well. I took the advice of another reviewer and flipped the leg pad around to make it more effective and maximize the range of motion. Excellent suggestion.Where the weights are placed is where the problem begins. They are all loaded on one side, which places a torque on the lifting arm. The bracket that attaches that arm has some slack to it, so the hinge has some play. It causes the arm to twist and move laterally as the arm lifts up. I'm not sure if the bracket on mine was just bent in shipping or what, but it's 1/5 inch wider at the top of the bracket than the bottom. That torque will make the flimsy bolts attaching it shear off.Replacing the flimsy bolt assembly with a single M20x100mm bolt will fix that issue ($10 at your local hardware store).I returned mine for a refund, and the seller was very helpful, but if you're looking for a budget option that has that even resistance curve, it can be a good machine with some modifications.
