This is a well-made feature-rich charger that any vehicle owner with a 12V battery will likely need someday. Hook it up, select the battery type and charge rate and press Start. It has protection built in to prevent damage if connected improperly. Even though this charger is called Pro, it is more suited for casual or medium use. It is likely not suitable for a high volume commercial shop.What I like…- Durable metal case.- Clamps are clearly marked by color and polarity. (See pic)- Sufficient cord length to reach most batteries while it is sitting on the garage floor.- Fully automatic operation, automatically switches to Maintain once the battery is charged. Protects against incorrect connections- Easy to see LED indicators. (See pic)- Bad battery detection and warning indicator.- Can jump start, charge or maintain, with a single device.- UL listed.Shortcomings…- The manual is not clear about operation.- Selection buttons are white flat disks on the display, they are not clearly marked with function. (See pic)- Battery clamps are not copper, they may corrode.- The grip handle in the case is awkward to carry.- Would be better if there was adequate cord wrap to stow the cables when not in use.The box included the charger with attached cables and clamps and a user guide. Simply connect and use, no assembly or set up required. (See pic)This is one of those things that you do not need… until you do and are glad that you have it. I've had issues with my car battery lately, and I am looking to get it replaced soon and I've been looking for a battery charger so that I could plug it in at home, and I saw this one that comes with not only the battery charger, but also is able to fully jump start my car in the even that I am alone and there is no car to assist me to get jumped.I used the car battery charger already and it charged my car battery miraculously and quickly! I was very shocked at how powerful this little machine is, and I really like that I can plug it in at my house and keep it in my car locked away in the even that I do need it. I like how compact it is, and it's not super big and bulky. I like that there are no cords just hanging around when I need to charge my battery, and there is not need or use for an extension cord if this is fully charged. I haven't had to use this for jumping my car just yet, hopefully I don't have too anytime soon, but I am super excited to have this jump start my car all on its own! I like how the machine tells you what you need to be doing and it does the rest. I like that the directions are clear, and that it is easy to understand. I like that this battery charger and jump starter for my car is at the lower end of the price ranges for the other battery chargers and jump starter combos on Amazon, and that it is still a very good quality battery charger and starter and is still at what I think is a very reasonable and fair price for all that it can do. It even extends the help by limiting you having to get a ride from someone or wait on someone to come and help you, when you have this with you instead. I feel that that is something that has value that extends beyond the cost of this item and I am very happy that it is. I do not have any complaints or concerns with this automatic battery charger and jump starter, only compliments!Overall, I am very happy that I got this, and I am very happy that I don't have to worry in the back of my mind what I will do if my battery gets low on juice and needs a jump, and this means a lot to me. I would highly recommend this to everyone with a vehicle that never knows when you will need it, but it will be good to have if you ever did need it.

Charger wont work on dead batteries. If it sences anything less than 10v it just flash's and wont even try to charge. Its worthless for anything other than a hi amp tender. Bought 2 thinking the first one broke. Nope. JUNK

I have a weak battery on my bike to where if it's <60f outside my bike won't turn over, the engine start feature can't even give my battery assistance in turning over the engine. I ended up charging the battery for 30 minutes in order to start it. 3 stars only because it actually charges batteries.
