Please read this review. This hearing aid works very well.
I am not going to discredit any negative reviews. I will speak only to my own experience with this hearing aid.First of all, it's affordable.Second, the shipping was fast. It took about 4 days total.Third, I took a chance and purchased 10 extra batteries (size A 10)Fourth, I am 56 years old and lost my hearing from the constant noise from heavy equipment around me for 25 years. Here is my review. Before I used this hearing aid:I have moderate hearing loss, meaning when someone is speaking to me at a close distance (within 10 feet) I can hear them, but I can not make out what they are saying as far as syllables and nouns, adjectives, etc... It is only a muffled sound of syllables and nouns and adjectives. I often think I know what they're saying, but it's a guess. Now I work a part-time job on a military base. I have to enter through heavy security gate in my car were they ask me questions every time I enter the gate. I can barely hear them. I had to put a sign above my car window that reads, "Please speak loud. Hard of hearing."Wearing this hearing aid:So, after putting this hearing aid in my left ear, and turning the volume to 1/2 of its turn on the dial, I can hear everything people say within 10 to 15 feet. There is very minimal background noise, but there is some, but it's not overwhelming. Someone's voice carries over any background noise and comes through clearly. What's also great about this hearing aid is the pickup mic is at my ear, not behind my ear like other "over the ear" hearing aids are. I can easily to narrow in exactly where a sound or voice is coming from. My hearing is centrally balanced between my head where the combined sound from both ears belongs. To turn it on, just close the battery door. To turn it off, open the battery door. The battery goes in the "bump side down" and "flat side up" position (size A 10).I haven't had this hearing aid long enough to tell you how long the battery lasts. I don't use it all day long. I only use it when I need to leave the house. I will update this in about 7 days from now, today is: Sunday, July 19, 2020.Conclusion:This hearing aid is worth the money. The seller is excellent about getting it shipped fast. There is no problem with the seller. My rating is 5 stars on everything about this review.

Nope
I bought two of these for my ninety eight year old grandmother. I was optimistic. The amplifier is very small, which is what I wanted, because Grandma didn’t want anything cumbersome in or around her ears. She didn’t want to look like she’s wearing hearing aids, even though at 98, she’s earned the right, but I absolutely see her point. I do believe, though, that the size would be an issue for her to manipulate, and the tool used to control volume demands nimble dexterity, not to mention the itsy bitsy teeny weeny battery. I do like that the battery compartment is easy to open and close (for me, I don’t know about Grandma), and as long as you have the battery right side up, it’s easily pushed into place by closing the compartment. I tried one amplifier first, and i can only report that I heard loud whistles, distortion, and sometimes a very faint “tin can” sound from the t.v. about 10 feet away, which sounded about 200 yards away, but again, lots of distortion, and the volume had to be cranked to the highest point. Wearing this and especially wearing two, she would not have been able to hear any more clearly if I was talking straight into her ear through a funnel. I suspect this particular amplifier could cause more hearing loss and frustration. I did not open the second amplifier, so it may have been perfect, but I will never know. It just wasn’t worth opening since I’ll be returning them both. This amplifier did not in any way amplify normal sound, or make any sound crisp and clear. In my honest opinion, it hindered and obscured any hearing at all. I am returning both.

Works but with problems--update revise score to a 3
Instructions do not ID polarity for battery insertion. Fortunately battery door will only close with proper insertion, be careful not to force closure. No low battery signal. Instructions do not tell which way to increase or lower sound volume. Mine did come with sound set at minimum volume. Rotate control switch clockwise to reduce sound. Tool is plastic use carefully, probably won't last long.Three ear domes come with product; I found them all to be too large for my ears resulting in ear soreness by end of 6-8 hours use. Presently trying to find a smaller ear dome.Revised comments:Bought package of 35 different sized ear domes, finally found a small size that would stay in my ear. I had to cut away most of the attachment tubing so that it wouldn't stand far outside of my ear. Batteries only last 3 days. I need to readjust volume every morning. Plastic tool is difficult to engage.

Good price to value
I don't usually write reviews and I hope I don't embarrass myself. This hearing aid has improved my life greatly. Keep in mind, I live out in the country and the shelter in place order is on. I woke up and my right ear was just not hearing anything. The doctor's are far away and I didn't know what to do. I started hearing high pitch squeeling from my ear and thought maybe things were improving. I've never had a hearing aid and looked on Amazon and there was this hearing aid for $25. I already couldn't hear, what could it hurt? The hearing aid came in about a week later and it clearly said amplifying hearing aid. I turned the volume down as low as it would go and put it in my ear. I could hear. That's it, not a long story, but I could hear. My wife said she could tell I could hear because I wasn't talking loud. She would frequently say stop shouting. Here is how I would summarize this hearing aid. If you are having hearing issues and you could spend $25, this is a good first step. The volume control isn't the best. The noise cancellation is not the best, but value for the money, yes, the best. I spend $25 taking my wife and grandson out for lunch, but now I can hear.My best to you friend. If you get this one and decide you want more features, get another one. $25 is a easy entry and it will probably improve your life.
