it works
I was trying to breath life into an older system that only had 8 GB, so I bought this set and added it, so I have 24 GB now. They're not the same brand as the other memory, but they have the same speed and pretty close CL. I've never had any issues.

Killer RAM, BUT...(READ REVIEW)
Ripjaws is always a good choice, BUT, if you have existing RAM of a different company, or Ripjaws, I would not advise adding more. I had 16g of Ripjaws that I purchased in 2019, and wanted to upgrade to 32g, so i purchased 16g more. After installing, games would lag, and all sorts of additional issues came about.I then learned that it's usually hit or miss on whether they would marry well together or not. In my case, they did not.You'll need to buy 32g at once if you want 32g, and etc. Adding additional RAM appears to.not work well.The product and company are awesome, but not a good idea to mix.

i'm not the expert, but just wanted to say i put two sticks in 4 years ago, have had no issues, bought two more sticks a month back. always a little nervous that ram will be compatible with what looks to be the same, but this worked which i'm pleased with enough to come type this out.thanks

I love g.skill
This is by far my favorite go to ram for any budget build. Not only is this kit relatively cheap but G.Skill always provides excellent quality, especially with this specific kit. I've had issues in the past of getting corrupted kits of their TridentZ series and some Corsair kits. This specific ripjaws kit I've never had an issue and never once gotten a corrupted kit.
