This is a really solid piece of equipment
I already have some Douk 'Tube' products and was looking to add an EQ into the mix.This is very well built, all metal casing, metal knobs, backlit VU meters and a good EQ range.I do voiceovers so I need to hear what the recordings sound like without any processing, the fact that the EQ can be turned off with the flick of a switch is ideal for me, flick it back on and I am all set for music and videos.This has a decent amount of gain to it, you do have Bluetooth connectivity (although I don't use that), RCA inputs and outputs, power is via a USB-C connection but don't plug it into your PC as you WILL get ground loop hum, plug it into a mains adapter and you will get pristine clean sound.Sound quality on this IS excellent, at this price it is excellent value and cannot be faulted. highly recommended as are all of their 'Tube' products of which I have 3.

A painful experience
The first one of these I ordered did not power up at all. I thought I had just been unlucky so I set up a return and ordered another. This one powers on at but only one VU meter is lit.UPDATE 17/6/24:I've got the first one to power on. I think the USB-C connector was a bit bent because the plug wasn't going in all the way. I have returned the unit with only one VU meter.
