Oh I love this thing. I looked down one day in my new spring sandals and saw the horror that had happened to my heels over the winter. Cracking calluses aslnd ashy.Gross. I used to use that pet thing with the grates. But I didn't want to treat my heels like parmesan cheese. So I bought this. It said use it in the shower once your skin has softened. What great advice. I used it everyday just a few strokes. Maybe 15 seconds each heel. Then I hop in bed with my wonderful trader Joe's hand lotion and a pair of socks. When I wake up in the morning they look great. I have only had to use it for maybe eight times in conjunction with a overnight lotion and pair of socks. My heels are very acceptable supple and pink. I just make sure to rinse it well and set it outside the shower so that it stays fresh. This thing will probably last for years.
