These pack a punch
I was thinking should I have got the version with a sub woofer but trust me you don't need it. I gained the extra wattage from getting a more powerful plug as stated in the description and these are great. Hardly wear a headset now. Would recommend. No e and basey too!

I'm happy with them
I bought the Creative Pebble X speakers to go with a new monitor that doesn't have built-in speakers. I connected them to the hub in the monitor, using the USB-C cables included with the speakers, to which I had to add a USB-A connector. I also connected the speakers to a PD adaptor. Without the PD adaptor, the speakers were very quiet, and I had to turn up the volume in Windows to over 80/100. The PD adaptor also improved the sound quality. The speakers sound miles better than the sound of my laptop (Dell XPS 13) and better than that of my old Dell Soundbar. Out of curiosity, I compared them to a recently purchased SONOS Roam 2 that cost me over 50% more. The sound on the SONOS was clearer, particularly voices, and more defined, but the difference wasn't huge and higher frequencies to my ears, are better on the Pebble X. I'm happy with the Pebbles.

Creative Speakers
Really good quality speakers worked on 3 different computers we had x box / playstation / gaming PC with 3 different ways to connect. Not really loud but loud enough

Exactly what you'd expect, in a good way
Exactly what I needed. Could be a bit bassier but what do you expect for this price point? They look cool, too!

Beautiful and straightforward speakers
These speakers look gorgeous, with a choice of RGB light settings. The sound is very good, although the bass is a little lacking due to the lack of a subwoofer. I love the volume knob meaning you don't have to fiddle about with settings, the fact that it powers through the USB C cable (no bulky power brick), and the easily accessible headphone/microphone sockets.

Definitely not worth the hype, nor the money
Used Bose speakers for years, which naturally sounded good before they died. Used my sons cheap B&M Goodman 2.1 speakers whilst I waited for these, and they sounded okay with the sub helping somewhat, but definitely like the £25 they cost him! Then I tested my friends Gaming Trust Zoxa speakers, which cost him a whopping £35 from Argos and again, sounded okay, nothing special, with no sub helping things along either. Then these arrived and was excited to try them, especially as they have some rave reviews online. I have to say though, I was hugely unimpressed. To begin, they do not even come with the connector needed to be used properly, which is just poor.I had to use them in Bluetooth mode, though Creative's own app would not recognise them, even though Windows did. And they just sounded marginally better than the Goodman and Trust speakers to be honest. Without a sub, the bass is incredibly flat and gutless, and though they do sound marginally clearer in the mids and highs than the other speakers mentioned, as you would expect being £85 vs £20/£35, they really weren't that much noticeably better and certainly not worthy of the reviews they have garnered online. I would simply say, look elsewhere. These are, for the money, just not worth it.

Rubbish
I'm sorry to write a negative review, but these speakers were just terrible. I even bought the power adapter and it made no difference. To be fair, they may not be compatible with Apple as i just couldn't get an equaliser setting that worked. Its a shame as they were the perfect size to sit next to my computer.I bought Roxel set of bookshelf speakers which are worlds apart in quality, and not that much more.
