Do not buy.Here is the details.It’s cheap, it does not sit vertical, it does not get enough suction to skim. I have an upgraded pump and it still not strong enough.The main issue is it does not sit vertical and it’s super cheap plastic. You just need to stop being lazy get a good net and clean the pool. After all it’s an above ground pool.

This skimmer is alright. It is very hard to keep it in position. It does skim some of the stuff off the top if you can keep it in position.

The media could not be loaded. Pros are that it’s easy to set up and it economical.Con is that you may have to adjust it daily according to your water level.While it does work as intended, it isn’t comparable to a traditional through the wall skimmer. However if you are not comfortable cutting a holes in the side of your pool or you don’t want to loose several inches of depth on your water level then this is a viable option.

The clamp wasn’t strong enough to keep it in place. The piece that allows you to sit it in place is also short, not enough clearance if you don’t like to fill your pool too high. It was easy to install but this fact made me go with another option. Spend the few extra bucks and get a different one.
