works well
MUCH easier to feather an edge or skim using 2 hands. This is hands down the best way to skim

Looks good, ok material quality
I’m not an expert, so take this review with a grain of salt. The material used in this tool appears to be of decent quality. It’s not anything fancy, but a higher-quality material would have been more preferable. Since I’m not an expert, I wanted to try my hand at drywall installation, so this inexpensive tool would be a great starting point. I’ll give it a try.

Phenomenal result. Highly recommended.
I decided to remove the builder grade trim in our dining/music room and put up craftsman style board and batten. Well, when I took down the chair rail and "picture frame" trim there was so much caulk that it absolutely destroyed the drywall surface behind it. Tore off the paper on a lot of it.I had no choice but to resurface the entire wall. I had only done small drywall projects before, so I grabbed these skimmers. First I primed it, especially where the paper had torn off. Then I filled the gaping holes. Then I primed again. Then I did a level-5 layer of mud and skimmed with these new blades. Then I primed again. All I can say is WOW. Incredible outcome. One layer of mud, probably 2-3 passes with the skimmer blades, and one sanding. Almost like glass. Looks professional as far as I can tell. Definitely better than most of my house. If you look at the second pic, there were entire chunks of drywall paper missing in the middle of that wall at chair rail height. If you're a pro, you probably want the name brand. If you're a DIYer like me, these were fantastic. The larger blades take a ton of upper body strength to get a smooth surface. My dad rolled while I skimmed behind him. I was exhausted after one room and sore the next day. But man does it look great.Pro tips: Water down your mud to the consistency of store bought cake batter and roll it on with a textured roller. Then skim with the largest of these blades you can manage. Also get one of the pole-mountable 9" disc sanding pads. Also buy good primer. Zissner 123 is worth every penny. Also, the "dripless" caulk guns will change your life. What used to be the worst part of the job is now the best part. So satisfying.

"A Must-Have Tool for Easy and Effective Wall Repairs"
I recently purchased the Drywall Skimming Blade set, including the 10" and 24" stainless steel smoothing spatulas, to help repair the walls in my house. The tools worked great for my project, allowing me to achieve a smooth and professional finish on the walls. The quality of the blades seems excellent; they feel sturdy and well-made.One of the things I appreciated the most was how easy they were to use. Even though I don't have extensive experience with drywall work, the design of these blades made the process straightforward and manageable. The wider 24" blade was particularly useful for covering large areas quickly, while the 10" blade was perfect for more detailed work.Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend these skimming blades to anyone looking to tackle a drywall repair or finishing project at home.

High quality, professional grade...
The media could not be loaded. I'm a pretty avid DIY'r and it seems that there is always something to be fixed or repaired around the house. Currently I am fixing my house up to sell and I have numerous holes to patch from shelf removal and a/v installation as well as a floor to patch in my master bath where I've done some upgrades and installing a freestanding tub where a garden tub once was. In the video I go over the basics of putting the tool together, and although I wasn't able to get any footage of sheetrock repair like I hoped, I was able to show where I was using the tool to knock down ridges and smooth out some floor patch that I am using to level the bathroom floor prior to tub install. The only real complaint I had about the tool was that the pole didn't fit into the shaft of the blade holder and would pull off rather easily, however, after working with it I was able to break in the latch and the pole fits great and the latch holds very well.Honestly, I wouldn't exactly recommend this tool for someone who occasionally has a few holes to patch here and there. But if you're like me and like to tackle bigger jobs occasionally I think this is a very useful tool to have in your collection. The tool itself is well designed with quality materials, and all the pieces and parts fit together precisely and function very well. I recommend this product for pro's or anyone with above average DIY skills.

Impressed
Originally I was going to give these 4 stars, just because I do have a Level 5 24" skimming blade, and the quality just isn't the same. That being said, for nearly 1/3rd the price of an equivalent set, I don't see any reason why a DIYer would need more than these. The extra blade for the 24" skimmer is nice as well, although I've had my old 24" blade for several years without needing to change it.The Level 5 skimmers are aluminum, which I would expect to last much longer, and maybe are a little stiffer. I'm not a professional, but I'm 99% sure that the few jobs I did use the 24" blade for I would have been able to accomplish without issue with this product. If I had seen these before I purchased my Level 5 skimmer, I would have bought and been more than happy.Besides long term durability from very regular use, I'm very happy with this product. I don't know if they make a pole for these, but that would be a nice addition if you need to do overhead work - if this might be a situation you're in do some research first!
