The wife is not complaining so they must be working good. To install you need to remove the nozzle and take it apart to install a new one. Once I figured that out replacement was easy.

These spouts saved me from having to spend on another water bottle. While it is a little bit smaller than the original, it functions and looks totally normal. It scores a 4 star because these bottles aren’t easy to take apart as their videos make it seem and they do require a particular type of screw driver that isn’t included. I looked up videos online and found some that were pretty helpful and explained alternatives to the type of triangle screw drivers that are needed. There are no leaks and feels the same as the original. Happy with my purchase.Update 8/03/24:The spouts are just OK. I have added a couple more photos of what happens when the spout is pushed down. As you can see the straw sits at an angle. This is because the replacement spout is one piece, so when the spout is pushed in, it pushes the straw with it. This makes it so the straw shifts down causing it to end up blocked once it hits the bottom. When this happens it is very hard to sip so you end up having to open it to adjust it every fee sips. Again, I have the ashland which the spouts are not meant for so maybe they work perfectly well with the model they were intended for. I wish they made them for ashland.

I needed to replace the bite valve in my Contigo Ashland Chill water bottle. I was not able to find either a replacement lid or a replacement bite valve made by Contigo for the Ashland Chill water bottle. The product I purchased was a 4 pack of bite valves that I understood to be an acceptable replacement for the original. Not so! It is functional but not a direct replacement. Contigo should make and sell replacement lids and repair parts for all of their products not just the most popular. A $30 to $40 water bottle is not generally considered a throwaway bottle. I don’t have any recourse but to use this knock off, but I’m not happy about it.

Don't buy, it's easier to buy a universal lid that will fit the camelback container. Save time, frustration, money, and returning process.

This mouthpiece fit my husbands Contigo water bottle perfectly! For just a few dollars his $25 bottle is good as new.
