Very simple product. That just works. We have four door locks at our office and I'm able to control all of them with the smartphone, monitor logins for employees and have a little bit of peace of mind. Had some strange issues early on when multiple employees were trying to access the system at the same time. As long as You don't have a large number of people trying to access the system with the mobile app at the same time. The system works pretty well.

Works great for linking up with my smart door lock while away from home.

This device works well to lock and unlock the door from anywhere you have connectivity. However, you have to be careful of exactly how it works.- If you lock and unlock the door using the gateway, everything works fine.- If you lock the door with the gateway, then unlock it with the keypad or fingerprint, when you access the gateway, it will display “unlock”, even though the door is already unlocked. So, just hit unlock and then lock on the gateway app and it will work fine. The reverse is also true - if you unlock the door with the gateway and then lock with the keypad or fingerprint. In other words, the gateway does not detect the current status of the lock if it was changed after using the gateway.It’s a lot confusing, but the bottom line is to look at the gateway status after you’re done to see the current status. It does work well.

I was very much looking forward to getting this gateway, so I can control the lock remotely. Unfortunately, despite numerous attempts to pair the gateway on the app, it would not complete the setup. Either the device I received is defective, or there is a problem with the functionality on the app. So, I'm returning this device to Amazon and will receive a new one in a few days. I'll revise the review if the new one works. When delivered, the box for the device was ripped up, so I'm wondering if Amazon sent me a previously returned gateway? Also, I wonder if I can just use a generic Tuya bluetooth gateway or if I have to use the one meant specifically for Kucacci locks? This one is very expensive compared to the generic gateway devices...

This was an easy set up and great to sync your smart lock with Alexa.

I was annoyed that the lock required the gateway but the two working together allow me to set the teenagers code to expire every night and extend it when she finishes her schoolwork.
