This product has done more for me in three days than one year of physical therapy and three different physical therapists. Muscle relaxation is very noticeable, easy to use without lubricant as well. The entire dilator, including the base, are completely water proof, and it cleans very easily. The sizes are excellent if you’re a beginner, however if you’re looking for something average sized or larger this likely won’t be a product that suits your needs. Excellent product and has overall made a noticeable difference in my every day life.

It would not charge. Defective.

Much like Christopher Columbus sailing across the vast expanse of ocean in hopes of finding the new world, so had I been searching the internet to find a reliable and safe vaginal dilator. Colombus and his crew knew that by landing on this foreign soil they had forever altered the world, when I received this vaginal dilator, I also knew my world was never going be the same. When I used a different dilator for perineal massage it was like using a sextant to navigate the globe, however when I used the plusOne 4-Piece Vaginal Dilator Set it felt like I was navigating with satellite GPS. The precision was peerless. Like a warm blanket and the gentle rocking of a ship, the heat and vibration setting allowed me to fully relax on my voyage towards complete vaginal dilation. Great value, highly recommend.

I have vulvodynia and need dilators to ensure that my muscles don't get too tight. I tried these because I thought the heat and vibration would be good. The vibration is decent but the length is too short for all but the largest one, IMO.I've attached a picture of these on my cutting mat. Each square is 1 cm by 1 cm. In the second photo, I included a ruler with inches, so you can see the smallest one is a little more than 2.5" above the hard plastic base.Apart from that shortcoming (pun intended,) the quality of these is very good. They are very smooth without any bumps in the silicone. They lock onto the vibrating piece easily but don't accidentally get unlocked. It's pretty easy to switch between the sizes as a result. The vibration has 3 different intensities and then several patterns. The heat is controlled separately.These are much cheaper than if you bought 4 separate silicone vibrators. If you think you want something like that but aren't sure of the size, this might be good for you. Or if you think you'll need to go up in sizes.

This is a review of plusOne Vaginal Dilator Set This set has some distinct advantages over some other sets. First of all, the dilators are very slightly curved rather than straight. And the dilators can be used with vibration and/or heat. The buttons are about the same as on other such devices. To get the different vibration styes, you toggle through them all. The heat is very gentle; no worries about burning oneself. There is one handle to be used with all four dilators, and it is easy to change the dilator. The unit is indeed waterproof! And charging the unit is easy. The magnetic coupling is not robust, but as long as you set the unit to charge and don’t jostle it, it charges right up.The PlusOne website says these are made of body-safe silicone, with no phthalates, BPA or latex, and should be cleaned with mild soap and water (they are easy to clean). All the pieces fit in a little bag that comes with the set. Good thing a bag came with the set, since the website says to “store separately from other sex toys; sex toys of different material can damage each other if left in contact.” (Really?) I would keep them separate anyway just to make sure all items are the most clean. Though, I don’t consider these sex toys; these are medical aids for me. This set is made for those at the beginning of the dilation journey, since the smallest is very small (about 2.5” tall and 2” in circumference at the base [the taper starts at 0.45″ diameter and tapers up to 0.6″ diameter]) and the largest is not so big (about 4” tall and about 3.25” in circumference at the base [the taper starts at 0.9″ diameter and tapers up to 1″ diameter]). With the handle attached to the longest dilator, the device measures 6.7″ tall, 1.25″ wide, 1.25″ in depth, with the insertable part being 4″ long. Those of us who have had certain medical issues know that those small dilators are necessary to start with. And certainly some women might find a need for dilation when learning to use tampons or after a surgery. But sets with a greater range of sizes and larger dilators do exist, so it is important to consider what sizes you might need. Overall, this set is great: easy to use, good features, and it does the job. If you are new to dilation aids, this is a good place to start.
