This toilet seat is well made it is designed well and is contoured to fit and to remove making, it is easy to remove for cleaning fitting of the hinges can be a little bit of a trial and error positioning them so the seat fits well to the pan and able to remove the seat for cleaning, I would buy this seat again without hesitation despite a lot of low star reviews where other reviewers have complained that the seat moves (mine hasn't in the six weeks since I fitted it). its well engineered and the soft close is perfect.

I have to admit, when I saw this on Amazon, I was unsure about buying it. Why? Because for that price, getting a slow close toilet that is also quick-release had me worried about quality (no one wants a wobbly toilet when they are doing the doo).But, it's the kid's bathroom... So I thought let's just go for it. I was pleasantly surprised about how sturdy it is.The quick-release feature is easy to use, just press the button and pull the seat out from the bolts, placing it back it. Just align the bolts over the holes and slide it down until it clicks into place, makes cleaning very easy.It was also very easy to install and the bolt holes are adjustable to suit different needs. It did have instructions, but it is so straightforward that I didn't actually read them, so I can't tell you how legible they are. However, I do remember seeing clear diagrams on how to do it if you require some guidanceThere is a slight bit of give when moving the seat laterally, so it loses a star for that. It's not the bolts, they hold fast, I believe it's the quick release mechanism. That said, I think this is really good value for money and recommend the product as a standard replacement toilet seat.

It's disheartening to invest in a product that doesn't feel solid or well-constructed.One of the advertised features of this toilet seat is the soft-close mechanism. While it does close slowly and prevent slamming, the lid only opens to a limited angle of 120 degrees. This restricted range of motion can be inconvenient, especially when it comes to cleaning or accessing hard-to-reach areas of the toilet bowl. The limitation of the lid's opening angle feels restrictive and impractical.Considering the price of the toilet seat, I find it to be quite expensive for what it offers.
