This Spray Is Magic!
Worked wonders on my Pomeranian’s undercoat mats. Sprayed it in and rubbed it with my fingers and a bunch of the dead, matted fur came right out without brushing! Magic! I don’t know what this sorcery is, but it makes grooming my Pom so much easier!I also highly highly recommend getting the dematting pin brush from this line as well. It is a great dematting and general grooming brush, and my Pom actually tolerates it (I dare say she borderline LIKES it since she gave me her belly to brush!) which is a miracle in itself because I have another larger pin brush from Chris Christensen that she absolutely hates and runs away from. Looking at the brushes, I’d have never guessed she’d care for them so differently, but it’s night and day.

Works well on matted hair
Works perfectly to help get tangles out of bearded collie hair. It will make their hair super shiny and more manageable. A little goes a long way but doesn’t make it oily. I really like it and well worth purchasing if u have long hair dog that easily tangles.

Just don’t spray on floors 😉
Just a little warning it works awesome but be so careful not to get it on your floors. Made my floor so slick I slipped and fell and broke my shoulder and arm on week 9 of healing. I will definitely still use but will only spray her outside in grass or in my laundry soaking tub. It was a very costly and painful mistake

Miracle product AMAZING
I have a Goldendoodle that is very susceptible to mats so I decided to give this a try on a recommendation. It is truly a wonder product and miracle worker on her mats! Mats come out with ease and doesn’t cause too much pulling on dog that may cause them discomfort. Cannot say enough good things about this product. Definitely a must for any long hair dog owner. Especially a doodle!

BEST IN THE DETANGLE GAME
I’ve used all kinds of products on my coton de tulear and nothing does the job like this spray! Matting and knots are inevitable when you have a long haired dog and this makes it way easier to untangle!! I spray it directly onto the knot, rub it in and then brush it out. The smell is great, not over bearing and clean smelling. I do a light misting all over my dog before brushing him and his coat is smooth and shiny! Forever customer of this product!! Highly recommend.

Don't leave it in
This stuff works -- I can pull apart hopeless felt mats and work them out with a rotating pin comb instead of cutting them out. HOWEVER! You have to wash it out when the mat is out, don't leave it in -- it's a mat relaxer, it's not a detangler. If you leave it in the hair binds up again like nothing I've ever seen, at least it does on my Maltese. I went from a dog with a few mats to a dog with no mats to a dog so badly matted she couldn't move properly -- thick leg mats formed and then bound to her stomach fur in two days. This stuff caused the problem but also allowed me to save her coat, although it took a lot of sessions over several days. I didn't even realize it was the spray at first, even though by the time I got one leg done the last one had mats again without the dog leaving the grooming table. She did not appreciate it when I figured it out, because I had to get one leg done and stick her in the sink to rinse it off, then bring her out and work on the next leg and do the same. It's a spray, so be careful about overspray, you have to rinse off anywhere you spray it or it will cause new mats when dry. The sprayer is good, it's not a very fine mist so it doesn't drift far and it doesn't linger to be breathed by the dog -- overspray is probably only a problem with teeny dogs. It's a good emergency solution, definitely better for serious mats than anything else I've tried, but the rebound/binding thing is difficult to work with if you have a lot of matting to tackle. If the mats aren't terrible or if your dog isn't easy-going about sessions of comb-dunk-comb-dunk you're better off just using a leave-in detangler. I didn't try spraying water or leave-in detangler on the groomed areas, that might work to prevent the binding effect instead of washing the spray out. I also didn't try it on my other dog, standard poodle, maybe coarser hair won't bind up. It's also possible the binding effect is an interaction with the conditioner or detangler used by the mobile groomer. This spray was definitely the problem, but it works very well -- just be aware it can compound the problem if you don't rinse once you've defeated the mat.

Even better than Ice on Ice
It works unbelievably well. I use Ice on Ice for daily grooming but this is especially silky and is fantastic when my Hav’s coat is extra dry and hard to comb. He’s blowing coat and it’s really useful to provide slip and helps me catch tiny knots of hair - they just slide out when I comb.I didn’t consider that I never used an aerosol on him before, and I accidentally traumatized him spraying it. He’s terrified of the sound, and now when I pick up the bottle he runs away. I ended up spraying it the best I could into a different bottle because it works so well, but the direct aerosol spray works better. So you may want to have treats ready and let your dog sniff it out if aerosol is new - I really wish I would have thought of that.
