Hive House Hot Honey

I’ve already reviewed this one in an earlier post, 5 stars of course! Just writing back again to let everyone know that I am about to order bottles #3 and #4. All I can say is: YUM!!!!

This one seems to nail all three factors. Flavor. Off the charts. Heat. Perfect. Texture. You can actually see the ground chilis in this one. The grit it has, has put this one over the top for me.

Doesn’t have much of a honey taste. Overwhelming heat. Viscous consistency lessens appeal. More like a sauce than honey.

This honey is so good. I place it on wings, pizza, you name it. It’s so good!!!

Pretty good alternative to the other big hot Honey brands.It comes in a simple squeeze bottle in an eye catching yellow color with simple but colorful logo and text. It's a standard consistency with the floral sweetness of Honey and the mild kick of chili. I use it on avocado toast or eggs but the choice is up to you!11.99 at the time of purchase and it gets you a good 11 ounces of sweet and spicy honey.

Tasty honey with a mild honey flavor and a good amount of heat. Not so much heat that it overwhelms but strong enough to make itself known and linger. The overall flavor is great but this is coming from someone who doesn't enjoy a strong honey flavor. It is thinner than a typical honey, similar to mass market pancake syrup.
