Very good, quality product. It's better than the one my wholesale supplier sells!
I recently began helping one of my clients with the security camera system in their building. Their existing DC power supply box died and 6 of their 18 camera stopped working. I ordered this "Lapetus 18 Channel Output 12V DC 10A Auto Reset Fuse Distributed Power Supply Switch Box" as a replacement and found that it was a very high quality product that worked perfectly. I love the auto reset fuses and the indicator lights on the front and inside the box are a very nice touch. The cameras all powered up and worked just fine after I mounted this on the wall and got everything connected. It was the first power supply box that I have ever installed and the installation was very easy. Even if you only need connections for 6 or 12 cameras, go ahead and order this one just so you can expand in the future if necessary. It also has a lock and comes with two keys.

Well made product durable reliable
This is all go to PSU for CCTV installations We love the design the functions the look And the power is right on If you do camera installations and you're looking for a very well made PSU look no further and the price is perfect And all about customers love it too we've used this PSU for while now and Out of 200 units that we installed we only had a problem with one and I do believe that this happened during shipment I would highly recommend this to any security installers or do-it-yourself Handy man looking for a really good PSU for his CCTV system One of the best things that we love about this PSU The price to performanceWe have bought PSU use from a local low voltage store That costs more For less power And Less channels Then Lapetus 16 Channel Port 12V DC 10 AmpThe average cost From our local low voltage store for a 5amp PSU Would cost right around $59 And there is nothing special about it the look is a metal Box no lock No power indicator no switch on the outside does the plain metal Box I would highly recommend this product

Great
Own and operate an AV company which includes CCTV work. This unit went in like a charm, has held up well so far and has 10amp vs 5 which covers all bases for most of our installs requiring a power block.Good to go.

Works great and handles current draw spikes.
I have an 8 camera CCTV system that was having intermittent failures, mostly when switching between daylight mode and night mode.Replaced the 2 wall adaptors that came with DVR with this and have not had any issues since. It is also reasonably sized as to not be obtrusive when mounted on a wall.

Decent Price For A 16-channel Power Supply
This is decent price for a 16-channel power supply.PROThis is decent price for a 16-channel power supply. One thing I like is that the power supply has replaceable glass fuses; most do. However, I’ve found some that do not have replaceable glass fuses at the same price point, which is their loss.CONThis is not Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certified. Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is a nationally recognized, independent product safety certification organization. The UL sticker is an indicator that a device has been tested and meets specific UL specifications. Conversely, not having a UL certification is not an indicator of sub-par products. It simply means the product was not tested by UL and is not certified by UL. I am pointing this out in case anyone needs to install a UL certified power supply, if so, this is not UL certified.NOTE for anyone wondering, UL does not test each and every power supply that comes off the assembly line. UL test a batch of final revision power supplies before the product goes into production. Once it passes the UL certification, the company must build the power supply to the exact specification/revision that was submitted to UL for testing. If a new revision occurs, the new revision must be certified again by UL. Companies that sell UL certified products adhere to this because they pay a hefty price to have their products UL certified; hence one of the reasons some products are more costly.I gave four stars because this is not UL certified. Having a UL certification would not increase the price that much. If I could have given four and a half stars, I would have.

Time saver
Works well. I have a 16 camera security system and this works better than what came with my system. I ran the power cords to this and the video cords to the system DVR. This cut in half the number of wires I needed to snake to my DVR.
