This works very well to keep my mouth closed during sleep. My mouth doesn't dry out and my wife says my snoring is nearly eliminated. Most importantly, the quality of my sleep is a thousand percent better. I sleep more deeply and more consistently. This model is also comfortable...look for a model with a very large ear opening. I don't know how long it will wear...I'm guessing it may need replacement in 6-9 months.

The chin strap lacked quality fabric, elasticity and too large for small head/face structure. Unfortunately, I do NOT recommend this item.

This chin strap is thin and lightweight and only provides a moderate level of improvement in my mouth breathing problem. It is not a heavy duty device which I preferred since I did not want to feel too restricted with a chin strap and nasal pillow straps causing the combination of both to feel too confining. This leaves slight indentions on my face so anything tighter would be even worse and would probably cause too much pressure over the top of my head, or a headache. I still wake up with a slightly dry mouth but not as bad as what occurs when I don't use it at all.

I recently purchased the KeyBegin Adjustable Chin Strap to help with mouth breathing while using my CPAP machine, and overall, it has been a useful addition to my sleep routine. The material is soft and stretchy, making it comfortable to wear throughout the night without causing irritation. Most importantly, it effectively keeps my mouth closed, reducing dry mouth and improving the effectiveness of my CPAP therapy.However, there are a few minor downsides. I did notice some mild pressure on my jaw after prolonged use, though it wasn’t enough to cause discomfort. While the strap is adjustable, those with larger heads might find it a bit tight, while those with smaller heads may struggle to get a perfect fit. Additionally, like most Velcro-based products, the fastening may wear out over time with repeated use. Despite these minor issues, the KeyBegin Adjustable Chin Strap is a solid choice for CPAP users looking for a comfortable and effective solution to prevent mouth breathing during sleep.

Scratchy on skin and not comfortable. Variable stretching from outer piping to main fabric. Results in tightness just under lip and looseness under chin. Opposite of what I wanted.HOWEVER, apnea events lowered and sore throat less noticeable.

It really did not work for me. I use a Cpap machine. I switch over to a tape kind of what I use to keep my mouth/lips shut to keep the air from going out

My elderly father struggled for years to adapt to his CPAP. He finally found a mask that worked for him, but since it only covers his nose, his habit of sleeping with his mouth open prevented him from getting the most benefit from it. In an effort to address this issue, his doctor recommended a chin strap to hold his mouth closed, but it was simply a circular band that slid off every night. In a last ditch effort to find a solution, I ordered this one for him. Less than half of the cost from the one purchased from his doctor, this one stays in place all night due to the part that goes around the back of his head. From the first night he used this, he exceeded the number of minimum “good” hours of sleep as designated by “smiley faces” on his CPAP. The victim of a stroke several years ago that limits his dexterity, he does require help to put this one on, but once it is on, it stays on despite any movements and is comfortable to wear all night. If he needs to use the restroom in the middle of the night, he can easily remove just his CPAP mask and leave this in place so that he does not need help putting it back on. This has truly been a game-changer for his CPAP use!

So much more comfortable than the black one I have. Both are effective but this one has the netting which is so much lighter feeling when you’re wearing headgear anyway. It works fine with the cpap nasal pillows and makes it so the cpap can be worn longer without getting frustrated bc your moth falls open! Very pleased. And it’s lots of stretch!
