I was in desperate need for a freezer as my fridge freezer gave up the ghost. I had a second fridge already so no panic there but my cat has Katkins frozen food...his dietary requirements are of high importance!Searching for a small freezer became a pain so I thought I'd just get a larger freezer, I found this one and decided to purchase it... really glad I did! It's a compact size but boy can you fit a lot in it!!Delivery was excellent and the driver gave me a hand to lift it on to my doorstep, there is a base packing plate made of polystyrene with a little support, polystyrene side protectors and all within a cardboard box, absolutely zero damage and once unpacked and positioned I left it for around four hours before plugging it in. The plug and lead are packed away in a compartment at the rear bottom part of the freezer and needs a flat head screwdriver to prise open.The operating manual is the usual poor translation so if you need to adjust the temperature then a quick internet search will solve this for you. It's not difficult....99 litres capacity is excellent, the freezer looks really nice, it's not heavy when empty and there is a drainage plug at the bottom for when you defrost it, a plastic scraper is also provided for defrosting.I honestly cannot hear it whilst running, so quiet that I have to check it's working!It's E rated for energy and I am not sure if it's from the new rating system or not...I'll edit this if it impacts heavily on my bill.Summary.....small outside, big inside, looks good and most importantly freezes food.

The family needed to extend our freezer space as we'd constantly go to the store to repurchase things we eat often due to the freezer on our refrigerator being VERY small.We landed on this Comfee chest freezer and it was definitely the right choice. It's very plug-and-play. Simply take it out of the box (it's very lightweight) let it sit for a few hours after delivery before plugging in) connect to the mains, and give it a couple hours before loading in your food.The instructions on how to adjust the temperature could be a bit better, but I was able to figure it out. It looks decent enough, has a ton of space and freezes very well. However, as I state in the video, I recommend turning the temperature down a bit lower than the out-of-the-box -18c to maybe -20c to -24c to get things REALLY frozen.Still too early to tell if it's impacting my energy bill, but one thing I really like about this freezer is that it is EXTREMELY quiet. Even when the compressor runs, I can hardly hear it. This is an added bonus as we couldn't fit the freezer in the kitchen, so we keep it a room adjacent to our bedrooms.

Amazon is sending a replacement but this arrived faulty out of the box for me despite the box looking fine, with a strange substance on the bottom. Sounds like most people have good experience so hoping replacement is all fine but suggest others to beware of poor manufacturing/check for defects. Am definitely glad I did before plugging in as I'm not sure what sort of nasty chemicals could be leaking out but it looks corrosive to me. Also I called comfee tech support and they sent me to Amazon anyway so maybe save yourself the trouble to go straight there.

Only been here an hour or so and I am very impressed with this .Delivery was swift to say the least 2 days early which is fine .Not a mark on the body at all and the driver was friendly and so helpful .Switched into test it and it seems fine I’ve the display window clear and very bright .I have COMFEE shower and it’s never given me any issues and just like the brand they are extremely good value .This is nice and deep as shown and I love the back compartment for the plug .Just ease a flat head screwdriver in and the door pops open .Almost silent operation the energy rating is acceptable and I don’t doubt the performance of this freezer above all its compact but also roomy inside .Great as a back up or if you perhaps live alone or small family this would suffice
