The author provides drawings and illustrations of HVAC systems to accompany a trouble-shooting guide. This guide can be used for those wanting to go into the HVAC business or just maintain their own home’s systems. Beginners and advanced learners can benefit from the information presented.

Very poor quality printing.I am learning HVAC and was very disappointed when I received this book.There is no data on practical use. ( How to actually connect gauges, etc. for example)No useful photos of actual equipment.I was fooled by Beginner's Bible) title.I spent the $100 for" Refrigerant Charging and Service Procedures ..." and paid for the book and some tools in my first job of changing a bad capacitor.This textbook is laid out- I can't describe it well- like a government study- chock full of data I don't need to know.Tried to return to Amazon and they offered credit if I kept it - took the credit.I mean the Author no disrespect and I know he worked hard on this - I just want to let beginners starting in this field this is not a good practical basic text.

This book is great. Has tons of great info about hvac and all the stuff you need to learn

When your air conditioning goes out or your heat, you need it fixed as soon as possible and ideally without troubling service fees, diagnostic costs, and other things that are more than just parts and labor! This book allows you to do your own labor and know where to buy the parts that are reliable yet also not original costs!the industry needs employees as well so you could go in for your own business or easily get hired with a lot of the experience you learn from these repairs

Excellent information

Although I have been an HVAC/R tech for some time , I found this book very helpful as I advanced in my career and began teaching others . It gives a lot of core knowledge which can aid in problem solving most refrigeration and air quality issues. Very useful in residential and commercial applications.A must have for anyone who wants provide concise information on systems and train new recruits.
