The install was very simple and helped me learn how to lower my front windshield. 4 simple bolts to move the winshield out of the way and fit the cover under the frame. Now i dont have to worry about getting pelted in the face by the rain gap or my cupholders getting musty. After securing the front straps it was quite straightforward to secure the back and then the side straps. After walking around the jeep making small adjustments to get it trampoline tight i was pretty impressed with how well the overall cover fit. Havent tested in a heavy rain yet but i did take a 2hr drive on the highway earlier when it barely above sprinkled.On the note of flapping around while driving, it did of course make some noise but wasnt nearly as bad as i thought it may have been thanks to the two inner straps around the speaker bar. The material feels to be good material and i had no issues with rips or bad stitching.*Warning* - I didnt think about it until it happened but since this is fabric, water will pool up top and if it pools on top of the sunroof part science will happen. I dont believe this to be the fault of the manufacturer at all with the screen but i had water pool on the sunroof during a short storm right before the sun came out bright and strong which caused the sunroof to act as a big magnifying glass that started to burn a hole through my leather seat covers. Thankfully i was leaving the house just after the sun came out and found the seat smoking from the heat.*The fix* -I bought some cheap boat grade waterproof tape and covered the sunroof to not allow the sun to magnify through as well as adding a small patch to the seat where it burned to make the seat waterproof again.Even after that experience, i still feel this is a great option, minus the warning of course, to keep the water off when in the vehicle. Ive driven through a fee more storms since the original review coming/going to work and ive not had a single bit of water touch me.

This SUN shade is great for the sun, It is easy to install if you are creative with the straps. This may be waterproof but it is not a tight fit so It is not an alternative to a soft top for full rain protection. The material and quality is good. It is a bit loud when driving down the highway, but again it is good for overall quality. It will keep you mostly dry driving down the road when it is raining, and it will put in a good effort to keep rain off your seats and protect your electronics. As for Sun blocking, it is great, with the clear section you still get the top off feel without the direct sun beating down on you. Full disclosure, I didn't read the instructions, it looked pretty self-explaining when putting it on so I may have done it incorrectly.

This sun shade is great and wasn’t too bad to install. I like it over the mesh type.

Keeps the sun from beating down on you, and the wind from beating you up. But allows for all of the enjoyment of having the hard top off when it’s nice out. Easy to install, fits perfectly, no flapping in the wind. Good price for good quality.

Fit my 2022 Sahara Jeep 4XE perfectly. Easy installation. Protects me from the sun and rain.Does not flap in the wind.

I bought this top to see if it would fit my custom FJ40 before I went and spent a ton of money at at custom shop. It did not but I can say I Really liked the way it was built and wish it did. The refund process was seamless. The product is worth buying if you are in the market for one.
