I love this product - order with confidence.
Very well made. All parts arrived and assembly for both units combined was less than 20 minutes, including with all the accessories I purchased for it. VERY good control of various mode/options for the lighting effects. I will purchase more, if the need for more arises.

Works great!
Exactly what I needed for my Neewer Panel model NEEWER PL60C. This softbox fits it perfectly and works great. Not only does it include the softbox, but also a grid and a carrying case. As far as the built quality, it looks well-made. I have been using it for the past few weeks, and so far everything works great. I only wish it weren't that expensive; the regular price is $70, however, sometimes they do offer a 20% coupon. Do I recommend this softbox? Yes.

Snugger fit than expected
I got this for a rectangular light that doesn't have a softbox built for it - it should have fit a lot better given the listed dimensions but after wrestling with it for a while, it does fit but its a really hard sell for me

A must have softbox for the PL60C
If you have a Neewer PL60C, you should get this softbox. One the the issues I had with that light was that I felt the quality of the light wasn't that great. It was harsh, had shadow artifacts from the lens, and was kind of hard to control with just the barn doors. This softbox solves those issues. With the softbox and diffuser, the light is softened, and consistent. The grid also helps control the spill that the bare panel had issues with. That said, there is a cost to using this softbox in that the light intensity drops quite a bit. With the PL60C set to 5600K and 100% intensity, at 1.0m I measured 7100 LUX with the bare panel, 2200 LUX with just the diffuser, and 1600 LUX when I added the grid. But the better light quality and ability to control where the light goes makes the drop-off in intensity worth it for me. It turns the PL60C into a great rim light or fill light for my uses cases. The softbox is pretty intuitive to mount on the light panel, though it does take a bit of time to get it fastened in place. For the most part, the build quality is decent. I do feel the grid is a little flimsy. Because of the way the Velcro attachment works on the diffuser and grid, you can not use the grid without the diffuser. In general though, I think this is a must-have accessory for the PL60C light panel.

VERY WELL DESIGNED, CONSTRUCTED FOR A SOFTBOX. TIP, THEY COME AS A SET WITH THE PL60C OPTION!
I've had several NEEWER products in photography over the last five years, including rigs and LED lights, and I look forward to buying a cage for my Canon R3.They have everything from a photographer buying their first mirrorless camera lighting set to professional equipment that will get you through any shoot t anywhere in the world.A quick education on lighting: If you are new to photography or starting to take gear more seriously, I recommend introductory YouTube videos on a triangular setup to light photography footprints. This Softbox is designed to work with a specific LED light, and if you do NOT have this light, you can still repurpose it for different lights, but it will be challenging (I tried, and it did not end well.)I debated buying a set of these lights for travel because I love working with LED panels, the bang for your buck for what you get, and brightness.Barn doors are one of my favorite ways to light a scene.NEWER has excellent cases. If you're investing in camera gear, it frustrates me when companies don't include a case for an accessory that needs to be in a case. NEEWER always has significant cases designed for travel, especially with anything related to lighting. The overall construction of the case is your typical nylon and loop handle, which is suitable for overall thickness. This is a different softbox from what I've had with construction. The case measures 17 inches by about 7 inches. It comes with an instruction booklet if you're unfamiliar with putting the light on a softbox with the honeycomb grid and white diffuser. When you buy LED lights from NEEWER, they come with the case as dual lights with barn doors, which is typically all I would need for any shoot, whether a podcast product or just product reviews on YouTube. The Softbox itself is a small footprint in a good way.Umbrellas work great but take up much space in a case.Case size is very similar to how big the barn doors are; it will look identical. What I like about the Softbox is that it comes as a tiny footprint case 18 "x 7 ". It's got a SOLID, well-built construction feel to it.The Velcro is powerful.I was shocked at how strong it is in a good way because I've seen several soft boxes constructed where the Velcro could be more robust; the overall build quality is incredibly durable. This will last a long time, and I highly recommend picking a second one.It has a very thick plastic/rubber to it, several Velcro straps, and elastic on the back part itself, going to give you a custom fit for the LED light; no other LED lights I've had in the past the soft boxes tend to have this type of feature to them.I have seen a softbox around the light, but I like that this design is made for these lights. You'll have complete control of your LED from the rear and smartphone for putting lights on.I can't count how many times I have had to tweak an LED light before Bluetooth; it makes everything easier.Take your time.Installing a softbox on the end of a light can be challenging if you're not used to it.I recommend not putting the Softbox on while you have the tripod stand down in case you drop the light or the light falls when you put on the Softbox. What's nice about the back of the light is the design and construction of where the Velcro attaches to the back of the Softbox, which is an excellent fit against the tripod.Measurements: You're looking at 15 x 12 and folded 18 x 6, about the size of a medium-sized tripod with the ball head. What I like about this is that 99% of the time, you don't need a softbox when I have barn doors on a set of LEDs.You typically have to remove the barn doors, which can be challenging, especially when the LEDs are on for a while. The barn doors tend to heat up and get very HOT.BE CAREFUL.Overall, for a small footprint taken up in your bag, you get much bang for your buck, and two of these LEDs I've worked with in the past can light up—any small footprint from a product shoot, photo shoot, and podcast.VERY BRIGHT!My only complaint is that they do not come in a three-pack for a package deal. You can buy these (2) lights as a package. You can buy the Softbox with both lights included for $300 versus paying $219.2 Softboxes are $120; your best bet is to buy this as a package when you purchase the lights.Carrying case: NEEWER is making convenient cases that will work in the field, just not in theory.I've always had a good experience with any case I've had from NEEWER regarding lights.I'll post pictures and a video next week.I'm setting up my YouTube studio and would like to do a proper review and some professional photos of my brand-new Canon R3.If you have any questions, let me know.NEEWER is an excellent company that will cover you from A to Z!

Great product!!!
The media could not be loaded. This is exactly what I needed to add to my photography set up!! Love the grid, super easy velcro attachments ! It comes with a grid and diffuser! Such an easy addition that makes huge impact to the quality and overall desired lighting / tone for your image! I already had a newer led video light so it was a great convo for me! I’m very happy with this!

Good custom-fit softbox solution for the PL60C, but the honeycomb is a pain.
I have and love the PL60C RGB panel light, and it's really nice to have a custom-fit softbox option for it that actually looks professional on a shoot (you should see some of the janky DIY setups I've made to rig up a softbox for these panel lights in the past).I used this the other day for a headshot photo and video shoot, and was fairly pleased overall with the performance. Installation is fairly straightforward, but it's probably a good idea to have a look at the instructions first. The quality of the materials is good, and it does a good job diffusing the light. The honeycomb, however, is a bit of a disappointment. It's supposed to secure in place by a very thin strip of hook-and-loop around the outer edge, but it's stretchy enough that trying to secure it in place quickly becomes a game of whack-a-mole that's hard to win with only two hands. One side pulls away while you're trying to secure the other side, etc. When I'm setting up for a shoot (especially with people watching me do so) I try to avoid finicky and frustrating gear that takes more time to get set up than it should. In the end I was able to get it all set up and secured, and the honeycomb goes direct the light reasonably well, but I have to take off a star for something that should have been much better engineered.
