Very easy to set up. There should be clearer instruction on set up at the end. I blocked off the arm that sets the trap and had to take some apart and put it back together to make it work right due to instruction. This is Huge! I can catch my neighbors lab now. They won’t keep it contained, I will.

With a length of 57 inches, it is unquestionably big enough to deal with coyotes and other large animals. I had some reservations about the amount of space it would take up, but I was pleasantly delighted to see that it could be collapsed. Because of this function, I am able to effortlessly fold it up and store it away in my shed when it is not being used. This has been a true lifesaver for me. Even for someone like myself who isn't typically very handy, setting up the trap was a simple and uncomplicated process. I had no trouble putting it together and getting it ready to travel since the directions were easy to understand. I was impressed by the solid structure; it seemed like it was well-made and long-lasting, which is something that is really necessary when working with bigger animals. I used some chicken leftovers as bait for the trap, and I placed it in an area where I had seen significant amounts of coyote activity on many occasions. I will freely confess that, at first, I was suspicious. In the past, I had attempted different things but were only partially successful, so I was not anticipating miracles.

It takes two people to set this trap. The back door bolts shut. Not easy to get in and out of just to place a bowl of food

It has caught all 4 of my dogs, including a chocolate lab. I still haven't caught the coyote, but theoretically if a coyote went for the bait it will work.Sometimes, the trap can get set off by wind, or by smaller critters that go through the cage.

Too easily tripped by wind or animal bumping it.
