Not the best interpretation but not bad
Great remake of the Ten Commandments - Dougray Scott does an interesting take on Moses though I prefer what Burt Lancaster did in the 1975 Moses the Lawgiver TV Series- In any event I enjoyed this one and found it most refreshing after watching the messy/awful Ridley Scott movie version. My girlfriend felt that this 2014 made for TV series should have been shown on the big screen instead of the Ridley Scott movie. I removed a star for the dvd lack of english subtitles as my parents are hard of hearing.

Not as good as expected
As a Christian of many years I was very much looking forward to this film. There's quite a bit of the bible missed out which I think was important to add. Watchable but that's about it.

Ten Commandments: The age of Exodus
Having grown up with the 1959 Charlton Heston version, and after the rubbish Ridley Scott recent film I did not know what to expect from this. But what a great film. Maybe a few added sub plots here and there but it follows the Bible story that I know. Good special effects too. Certainly worth buying.

This was undoubtedly made for Christian television!
It’s overall contribution to be a masterpiece of cinematic film production, failed miserably in the shadows of “The Ten Commandments “ & God’s and Kings”; even the mid 70’s television series “Moses The Law Giver” was more accurate to the original story…!This piece of inaccurate storytelling was probably made by some Christian television company, to target a particular viewpoint notably the Evangelical Christian, who resides in the United States of America…..!
