Adapter for Makita 18V Battery Convert for Dewalt Tool 18V Li-ion XR Series, Fit for Makita LXT-400 BL1850 BL1840 Battery (Adapter only, battery not included)

I mainly use Bosch Pro kit (blue 18v) but wanted a router for occasional use and couldn't justify the Pro version so went for the green version. With this adaptor on the router I can now use the batteries from my Pro range on the router without any issues.Good positive location of the battery, works exactly as you'd expect.

Bought this to use with my Bosch green tools and a DeWalt battery. It was a tight fit on to the Bosch tool and even harder to slide off again. But that's probably a good thing 😁. The DeWalt battery fitted no problem and all the GREEN Bosch tools I have now have a couple of extra DeWalt batteries as a backup. The converter seems to be well built I'd now like to get one with the opposite connections, so that my Bosch green batteries fit my DeWalt tools. I'd be grateful if someone could let me know if that exists.

Worked better than I thought. Put this on my dewalt 18v impacter with a makita 18v battery and it worked really well. Only thing is you can’t charge the makita battery with the adaptor on. The makita battery has to be charged on a makita charger

Worked exactly as expected. Saved me a bunch of money getting new batteries for new tools. It obviously adds a bit of size to the battery but I haven’t found a tool that this causes any problems with.

This allowed me to use my DeWalt batteries on the Bosch Hedge pole (DeWalt don’t make one).It is very useful and reasonably compact but the latch of the DeWalt battery doesn’t click in to the adapter as positively as it might so you need to check it is secure as I have had it fall out.

Excellent piece of kit great idea.

Fits my bosch air blower perfect, allows me to use my dewalt batteries from my drill perfect fit.
