I appreciated the author’s straightforward style. I don’t have a lot of time for (or interest in) drawn-out personal development books with a ton of personal stories from the author. I prefer this approach, where anecdotes are about respected thought leaders.

I like the direct approach the author uses in putting his points across and I like the examples given. The book is very useful in helping leaders to develop the right mindset to lead self and their teams.

Good. Chapters don’t seem long as the way they are cut up. Easy to read and understand. Good information throughout book.

While the Elon moments lost me, the insights from some other greats such as Steve Jobs really drove the message home. Leadership really is an art, and a skill. As you go through this book, he really helps you sharpen those skills and identify areas where you can improve. Nothing is spoon-fed to you, nor shoved in your face. You are presented with an easy to read, easily digestible resource which allows you to better your skills. I recommend this one to aspiring and established leaders. 4.8

This is a serious study but that does not mean it isn't readable for the layman. Packed with good content it covers every area of leadership skills and the decision-making process that is essential to their (your) success. I was especially impressed with the discussion regarding the need for a leader to balance their personal convictions, drive and goals with the need to be adaptable to others on the team. There is plenty of practical, usable advice in these pages.
