My aging iPhone X is practically falling apart with the amount of use and abuse it still gets and with one accidental drop the screen got destroyed beyond repair.Being tight on cash not being able to get another premium screen repair I decided to spend $20 on this kit, and I was probably the best $20 I’ve ever spent.Paid $20, kit came the next day with full install instructions that were easy to follow alongside all the tools that were included with the toughest part being aligning the waterproof seal. In less than an hour my phone was back to life!The screen itself is nowhere near original factory quality being LCD instead of OLED, a bit of a soft picture, and increased battery consumption. But honestly for $20 this is all priceless and works.I am typing this review on this screen and will continue to enjoy it until either I need another one or finally get a much needed upgrade from this phone

Hard to install, low quality, appeared to work but had severe functionality issues the next day. Amazon sent a replacement but id did not have the suction cup necessary to install the new screen. I had to just buy a new phone instead. When you use this, face ID will no longer work, so make sure you turn it off especially for Messages. I had to type in my passcode 3x every time i wanted to open the messages app after installing this product. Attached picture shows the dysfunction of this product. Screen quality is far inferior to apple. I would have saved my energy and got it replaced at apple for $200 instead of buying this again.

This is a well designed package with necessary tools intact and good instructions for install. It’s a downgrade for the original iPhone XR Oled screen which are very expensive to replace. The install went well, with one problem; the screen shorts out when trying to squeeze it back into the frame. I think one of the button contacts is shorting out with the conductors on the screen. This results in a successful repair that needs to be rebooted. If you make sure your phone is off during final assembly and then turn it on it should help. I’ll be back in a few months to edit this, but it did allow me get my pictures off of the phone although I am still waiting for the battery to drain so I can power cycle the phone with everything put together.

The screen works great and looks great. It was easy to replace. I would however recommend buying an inexpensive screen repair tool set. Even just a screen opening tool and a couple of screen fastening clamps because the suction cups that come with this do not stick very well and they are awkward to use. You also need something to press the sides of the screen down after you replace it to ensure it’s water proof and to make sure it’s nice and flush. The waterproof gasket also gave me a lot of trouble. It wouldn’t separate when you try to press it on the phone and peel the back off. It came off in pieces and I had to stick each piece on. It was probably the hardest part. You also will need heat to melt the old gasket to remove the screen. I used a wet rag that I microwaved. Laid it on the screen on bottom of phone and let it sit for 5 min.

When I received this screen it was good. When I placed it in my phone my phone was hardly touching. It is easy to install but it's not compatible with my phone.
