KW3A Microwave Door Switch Replacement for Microwave DR52 16A 125/250V(Normally Open & Normally Close)

Direct replacement parts for the GE microwave switches. Took minutes to install and works perfectly!

Bought these to repair our Microwave. They did the job. When microswitches fail they usually can't be cleaned b/c the heat goofs up key metallurgy inside. It's a safety design. So you need to replace the switch/s. There are usually 4 switches in a microwave that do different things. They all need to be 'right' for the microwave to operate. But the one which fails most often is usually the actual "door switch" because people often pull the door open as it's cooking, to stir food or whatever. And each time the full cooking current is cut off, and a small spark/arc occurs inside the door safety switch. Over time that adds more stress to the switch and it fails. And when the microwave stops working because the circuit board "thinks" the door is open (unsafe to operate). Boy, the whole household suddenly appreciates how convenient they are when the microwave stops working!! LOL. So check your microwave's actual door switch first (the switches inside are for different things).It's been about 6 months since I replaced the switch. She's working great. I had a fuse blow in my fridgidaire microwave that's mounted above my stove.After a pack of fuses blew, I decided to open up the panel to check out the door switches. All 3 went bad (the prongs were black) so I replaced 2 with the other gray ones which were compatible with these. The black switch I had to order separately because the ratings are different.However once I installed all 3 and put in a new fuse, I haven't had any more issues. These work just like the ones from fridgidaire at a fraction of the price. Honestly they look exactly like the original ones. Same numbers and everything, just not paying the middleman. Thanks Amazon. I didn't have to buy another $300 microwave 😂

Exact replacement for the bad switch on my Furrion RV microwave and was super simple to swap out. Only thing I noticed is they are using a thicker metal now on the connectors, so it took some force to get the connectors on.
