Wicked Edge Generation 4 Pro - Precision Knife Sharpener (With Micro-Adjust/Without Cabinet)

After failing with many other sharpening systems including whetstones, I finally bought a Wicked Edge. I should have started with the WE and saved money. It is the most simple and consistent knife sharpener I've ever used. It takes all the guess work out of sharpening, and produces excellent, repeatable results.

II have sharpened about 30 kitchen and pocket knives, with excellent results. There is a learning period getting use to the correct procedures. There are numerous tutorials on YOU TUBE generated by the Wicked Edge company that help. Price is high compared to the competition, but I'm glad I bought the Generation 4 Pro. Much faster sharpening with the Wicked Edge sharpener. I have owned 4 other sharpeners and none can compete.

I have used a lot of different sharpeners in my life time. Everything from whetstone to mechanical. As far as a device that is used for repeatability and absolutely amazing accuracy and ease of use, this in my opinion can't be beat. The wicked edge generation 4 is very high quality and I would highly recommend it.

I have not used it yet, as it only arrived today. I will update this review once I receive the proper device.Amazon is NOT shipping the exact model configuration that is presented on their website. The micro adjustment control does not have a lock down knob and adjusting it in it's natural state is really hard on the fingers. I have reached out to Wicked Edge for assistance in getting the variant that I ordered.

Wicked good once I got over the sticker shock! Took a little practicing before I got the hang of it. My good knives were really out of shape from years of improper sharpening and was time consuming to get them back to factory edges. Recommend using cheap knives to practice on.

I have never had knives as sharp as I have after using the Wicked Edge.They're so sharp, I won't sharpen my parents knives because I'm afraid they will bump the blade and need stitches.

This product is great. I have been watching the reviews for quite some time and finally made the purchase. Its great so far, no regrets.

Seems to be made well but this unit must not have gone through quality control or they missed it. The left universal joint where the rod screws in was lose with no way to tighten due to the indexing tab. There was at least a 1/8" gap where it screws in and it was lose. This would change the angel of one side. This unit did not have the micro-adjust feature. I returned the unit for credit. Amazon did not offer to ship another one, had to return for credit and repurchase.
