I've bought so many mascaras over the years - both 'drug store' and designer brands - but this mascara is honestly the best I've ever tried. I cannot believe how inexpensive it is for the quality! Although the design of the packaging/the container is fairly cheap looking and mediocre, the design of the brush and the actual mascara is first-rate. The brush is long and thin. Every single lash is separated and coated, allowing both (extreme) lengthening and gentle curling. It doesn't clump and it looks very natural. Then there is the fact it's a tubing mascara, so it doesn't run or smudge - I'm not sure why, but the moment I turned 40 my mascara started to run and smudge, but this stays put and is easy to remove with a cleansing cloth and water. Finally, and most importantly to me, elf products are all vegan - so completely cruelty-free (and that includes not using ingredients from, or trading with, countries that mandate animal testing). Many beauty brands may be cruelty-free in your own country, but engage in cruel animal testing practices in other countries (such as China), so going for a product labelled as 'vegan' is the only way to be sure. You can rest easy with elf products that you will not be funding animal cruelty. This is the holy grail of mascaras - buy it, you won't regret it.

I’ve been using the E.L.F. Lash Xtndr Mascara for a few weeks, and I’m impressed! It lengthens my lashes beautifully without clumping or flaking. The formula glides on smoothly, and the brush separates each lash for a natural, fluttery look. While it’s not waterproof, it holds up well for everyday wear. The price is unbeatable for the quality, making it a fantastic choice for budget-friendly makeup lovers. I just wish it gave a bit more volume—otherwise, it’s a perfect go-to mascara

After years of using waterproof mascara and removing it with baby oil, this was a nice change. The mascara comes off with warm water as tubing mascara is supposed to and there's no eye irritation. I found that it didn't smudge on to my lid either which is a plus - maybe this was due to the brush but waterproof mascaras have always done this during application (could be my ineptitude of course!!?!). The brush is thin and doesn't overfill with product - the mascara has a nice consistency and goes on easily - the only issue I have with this type of mascara is it doesn't seem to hold the curl quite like waterproof versions (I use an eyelash curler before hand and this is still the case). I have tried the brown version and it's a very nice colour but I always come back to black - both equally good. My eyes tend to water whatever I do but this mascara didn't come off on the tissue. I like Elf cosmetics as they offer good products and have a great app to use - price wise you can't go wrong.

This mascara turned out to be a really good surprise. It lengthens lashes nicely and lasts all day without smudging. Great value for the price—does the job better than some more expensive mascaras. Definitely worth trying!

i like the convenience of it being a tubing mascara as it washes out like one and doesn’t smudge. however, i have short, straight lashes, and even when applying it after curling they fall down in 10 seconds

Always trying new Mascara,s and this is one that I keep reaching for !!! Great Formula and a perfect Brush. Gives Professional Results and comes off easily. Price friendly too. Brown is Flattering for blondes and Black For Others. I'm Impressed 💯 re buy on repeat! Amazon is a fantastic price point

A mascara that DOES NOT run or leave panda eyes, it's a tubing mascara, which means it's made of polymers which coat each lash perfectly and it washes of really easily with just water. It's easy to apply and it dosent clump and leaves a lovely curl on yoyr lash. I absolutely love this product

I like this, it works well and is a great price. For context I'm a middle aged woman who wants quite a bit of volume and length on my lashes and this fulfils the brief nicely. It's good and black, separates without clumping and does not smudge during wear. It has a very firm brush which takes a bit of getting used to but gives my lashes ooomph and makes them curl upwards which was a nice surprise. However, my teen daughter who is mascara obsessed and who likes her lashes to identify as a large spider wearing a fur coat was unimpressed. She's going to stick with her £26 MAC stuff which no doubt I will have to fund by remortgaging my house, whereas I will happily be using this cheaper mascara again.
