Good cheap multiband radio.
No complaints for the money spent. Performance is fine. Sounds pretty decent.

Sounds good
Sounds good for the price.A little concern on tuning stations. Strong local FM stations come in well without extending antenna. Sometimes worse with the atenna extended. Just a little weird.

Amazing little radio
Surprised about the sound quality, very loud sound and speaker quality, digital tuning,fm very good excellent sound,am fair sound and reception,SW like most radio can be more challenged to tune and still is under my review I always recommend an outdoor antenna for SW..overall the radio looks like a well made plastic, good size and the rechargeable battery included is a plus, standard tipe c cable for charging and is able to accept 3 AA batteries when charging is not available...overall the sound of this Chinese radio is very good..for the price I got it $13 is a steal..just one cons..when setting presets on fm does not keeps presets after turning on..you must dial the station number on keypad or tune again, this the only downside found for me,but overall amazing radio

Nor durable, zero support
Second update: purchased another radio, this one stopped working entirely, with no fall. Product is disposable and should be valued as such.Product is advertised as a portable radio, but completely broke and is unusable after a rather small fall (less than a couple feet). You'd think a portable radio would be more durable...UPDATE: Discovered that the product fell because of a faulty wrist strap, which does NOT tighten/secure. Additionally, do not expect any after-sale support, as multiple attempts to communicate, over several days, have been ignored.

Works well
I use it all the time while outside relaxing. Lasts more than long enough before having to charge. Glad it comes with battery option as well. Could use more bass in the sound though. 1/2 star off for that.

Outstanding value in many ways, but be careful
UPDATE: I've decreased this from 4 to 3 stars because, although the first radio was great, I ordered a second that had a tuning knob defect, returned it for an exact replacement that was lost in shipping, which in turn was replaced by a unit with a different tuning knob problem AND received badly on AM. With quality control problems at this level, it simply is not worth the risk.I ordered one unit and it was excellent, pulling in shortwave stations such as WWV and CHU with just the whip antenna — I'm in New England, so this is outstanding performance for a cheap portable — and handling AM and FM broadcast quite well. The user interface is far from intuitive, but I've seen worse and the instruction manual is surprisingly helpful. It can use three different power sources: (1) non-rechargeable AA batteries (not included), (2) rechargeable 18650 Li-ion cell (included), and (3) external power over USB Type-C cable (included). (The AA batteries and the Li-ion cell cannot be installed at the same time.) The radio can be played while connected to external power, in which case the rechargeable battery will be recharged if installed. It's an ideal emergency receiver. The sound quality from the internal speaker is good and strong. One serious annoyance is the tuning step of 10kHz on AM and SW, and of 100kHz on FM. This is correct for AM broadcast in North America, a mild annoyance on FM (where 200kHz would be correct), but a serious problem on SW where many stations are within the gap so a 5kHz step is necessary. Selectivity is soft enough that you will likely be able to receive the SW broadcaster anyway, but it does impair basic functionality if this is important to you.Unfortunately, the first radio worked so well that I ordered a second that turned out to be seriously defective: the manual tuning knob worked to increase but not decrease frequency, and I worry what else the factory missed on quality control. So if you buy this radio, be sure to exercise and check its functions during the return period.

Manually saving a station doesn't work
Neat inexpensive radio- reception is- ok. However- you CANNOT save a station. You can SCAN and it will auto save every blip on the airwaves- but going to a station and manually trying to save A STATION SIMPLY DOESN'T WORK. Pass this up- there are better options if listeners who want a few favorite stations.

Excellent radio for the money!
I'm used to an on/off button, and tuning and volume knobs, so learning to tune was a challenge. Nevertheless, I think it's an excellent radio for the money. Love the choice of batteries! Too bad it's no longer available.
