This case with hand strap is exceptionally well-designed for my Surface Pro 8 and functions exceptionally well. It offers exceptional value, given the many features and price.I just now attached it to to my laptop for the first time. This review is based on my first use of the case.It's rare that I find a product so good, I am grateful for it. That applies here. I am so effusive about it, I feel it's worth my stating upfront that I was not asked to review it, I haven't been paid to review it, and if I were to be offered any compensation, I wouldn't accept.I purchased it because I use only the tablet for 3 straight hours weekly to read sheet music in a chorus rehearsal.MULTIPLE PLUSSES:* The velcro strap is extremely sturdy and easy to adjust to perfectly fit the size of your hand* The strap is attached to a section of the case that easily rotates to make the angle of the strap comfortable* Its openings/protruding buttons are perfect for: Power on/off, Charging cable, USB C ports, and Volume control* It allows the tablet to easily attach to the keyboard and also allows for full use of the keyboard* The case also has a terrific, versatile kickstand, cleverly designed to offer two positions, one with an acute angle and one with an obtuse angle -- Note: Figuring this out is not immediately obvious or intuitive* It is form-fitting around all four sides of the tablet, adding less than 1/4" on the left/right sides in landscape mode* The case seems pretty ruggedTWO MINUSES:* The rear of the case has a tight, elastic loop to hold the stylus pen. It is located 3 inches from the left edge in landscape mode. It is just over 1 inch from each edge in portrait mode.It currently holds the pen securely. It does seem like it could easily loosen over time. That would make the $30 pen prone to dropping and getting lost.The holder's design and position make it very difficult to fasten or remove the pen. A better design would allow it to be both secured and easily fastened and removed. Some design options that might work could be a reservoir similar to that optional feature on the keyboard with an added spring-like clasp that clicks into place or a longer tube-like pocket. An additional magnetic feature might also help, but not by itself.* The strap itself is a bit bulky, but that might be almost completely unavoidable in order for it to be sturdy, which seems a worthy tradeoff -- and the tablet-laptop combo with the case attached still fits into my tight carrying sleeve quite well

Very functional. Kick stand works all 4 sides, 2 slope settings. Also has an adjustable hand strap to use while walking, standing or carrying. Kick stand also stows flat. Really like this product.

This is a great case for your surface. It is well made and works well I wish this brand had been around for my other surface. It's very durable and adds great protection

Love this. The strap is adjustable so it will fit any hand. It also fully rotates. It’s top notch.

I have used this for some time now, and the quality is excellent, the charge is reasonable, and the keyboard is very responsive. The way the stand swivels, it offers different angles for the tablet, and that is a big plus for me. I would buy it again and recommend it.

This is a very nice cover, but you do need a separate screen protector. I have my computer on my desk and use the stand the majority of the time with a separate mouse and keyboard. It protects your computer while taking up little space.

Love everything about it! Great quality, light weight but durable. Functional and easy to install. I don't use a pen.
