It is what we expected. ok

So the first thing to note about this product is that the packing is bizarre. It may have originally be intended to sell in a or even 18 pack, as whatever box it was originally packaged in was cut into parts and shrink wrapped to make smaller individual packs. Also each "cup" of slime has it's own individual labeling except for one which has no label at all. So for these reasons, I wouldn't say this is great as a gift, because the packaging/presentation isn't great. As to the actual product, some "slimes" are closer to putty and this is not that. As you hold the cup and tilt it back and forth, the slime inside quickly moves around as though it's fully liquid. In the hand, it's not sticky but does leave your hand feeling as though you've just touched something. The consistency is as though it wants to fall through the fingers and just may if you wait long enough, but at the same time you can hold one end of it and let the other end fall, and it does stay together more than you'd expect considering the consistency. Said another way, if dropped on carpet I think it may pick back up in one piece, but I'm not confident enough to try it. It does have a nice rainbow shimmer. It may be just what you're looking for, but if you're looking for something similar to putty, this is not it.

As an adult I love this slime for numerous reasons. The top two reasons for my of particular slime are:1) It DOES NOT stain everything it comes in contact with. The very first slime my daughter got was red. Everything had red streaks on it. Everything. Thank you too her grandma for that.2) It DOES NOT stick in the carpet. In fact I was able to pick up even the tiny pieces from the carpet with no problem.I also love the colors. Everyone that played with the slime loved the colors. Kids also liked the smell. It smells like clean spring liquid laundry soap. Not my favorite but it could smell a lot worse. I's non toxic. It is a bit wet feeling. I think this is what may prevent the sticking to everything factor, and the kids all loved it. There faces lit up and they were excited as they were Christmas morning when I asked them if they all wanted to play with some slime. It was a group of kids ages 5-17. Some of the parents even joined in on the fun. Definitely the best slime ever!

My grandkids, ages 2 and 5, are obsessed with slime so I got this for them. I have come to find out that there are different types of slime… so far I have played with butter slime which is stretchy like pulling taffy. And then there is this type of galaxy slime. This type is cold and it slithers when you move it from hand to hand. It is not sticky in the least. The colors are absolutely stunning.This comes with a shrink wrapped plastic surrounding the lid so that it doesnt spill. All my containers were perfect. I found that this was the perfect amount to fit in my hand and then be able to manuever it back and forth, pulling and twisting.Just a note: I have found with some brands of slime that it has taken the finish off of my wood table. Now we use a silicone mat or a cookie sheet as our base to play on.

The colors on these slime are awesome - really depicts the "galaxy" well. They are vibrant and deep, and the kids love it. Aside from that, you can see it's a lot more watery than slimy. When you rotate the bottle, the slime slides fairly quickly. You can see some areas are more clear too; I thought it was actual water at first! Texture-wise it was as expected just seeing it from the outside but it does make it a bit more gooey and funny feeling that the kids don't mind. It just won't keep its shape well at all so the kids are tempted to mold these around things but consistently fail.Looking at the package as well, these are originally a 12 pack and they went the cheap route to cut the box and saran wrap the opening. You can tell the opening has cuts around it and not smooth at all. So if you have plans to gift the whole box, just be wary of this.Also, each container is a bit small. It's good enough for some quick play time and material is good that it's easy cleaning up after as long as you play on a hard table/surface.

Over the past few years, my kids have been fortunate enough to play with just about every type of slime/putty out there, and this kind ranks pretty high on that list! The colors are great, vibrant, and do not mix together very easily. After a couple times of playing with this slime, you can still see the different colors. The texture is not sticky or wet on the skin, and it stays together really well. It feels very giggly/watery, but your hands stay dry! It makes a fun giggly sound when you flop it around or put it back in the container. These are perfect as party favors, or as student rewards/treasure box prizes. I haven't tried removing it from clothing or carpet, but I would guess that it would dry up and flake off like other similar products. Overall, a great product at a good price!

If giving these as a gift please note that it comes in a box that is labeled 12 but it’s literally cut in 1/2 and wrapped in plastic. Most kids won’t care unless they happen to notice the 12 and see only 6 tubs. The containers are smaller than you think but a good size honestly. The slime itself is very jiggly, wet and is a pretty cosmic color of metallic shimmer. After a little play the colors mix and it ends up a purple grey color, which isn’t bad really. Better than other rainbow slimes of this consistency that end up looking like brown nastiness. No worries of that here. My daughter likes it BUT she did say she wishes it was stretchy, which this is just not that consistency, as it’s too wet/gloppy. But it’s a great slime just know the consistency you’re getting and you won’t be disssapointed.
