Great quality desk - Highly recommend
Prior to buying this desk, I intended on building one myself with how bad most prefabricated desks are, but last minute I decided to take a chance on this desk after reading over its specifications, reviews, and doing a little research. I figured; worst case scenario I can just return it. I definitely will not be returning this desk.Instructions were very well made. I've had to learn how to build Amazon furniture without instruction manuals for years now, so it was very refreshing to have a manual where it was properly printed on nice paper with crystal clear pictures/diagram and grammar that wasn't ran through a very poorly written translation software. The product was packed very well. The box arrived in good condition, but as we know that can just depend on whoever is handling it. That being said, even if the box was beaten up by whatever mail carrier, I am certain that it would've arrived with minimal damage.I had absolutely no issues building this. The manufacturer even includes extra hardware (screws and such) incase somehow something was missed. All the holes aligned properly, I didn't have to fiddle with the alignment of anything either. The desk is extremely sturdy and clearly well made, even if the actual desktop itself is 3 different pieces. The motor is quiet enough for me to use during a phone call, and I have more than enough space for my monitor, large mousepad, and printer. There is very minimal flex when using the desk, granted I don't have a lot to put on it at the moment but even with my own weight it wasn't moving much.Lastly, the desk frame itself is built with heavy, seemingly good quality metal. I'm not exactly sure what was used to build the metal framing, but I can tell you that it feels very significant and clearly isn't cheap.10/10 do recommend.

For the price, absolutely 5 stars.
Partical board top is not attractive but for $100 the height adjustment is so worth it. It's a steal compared to the Uplift $700-1000 desks. If the top ends up bothering me too much, I may go to Lowes and buy and stain a piece of wood for another $1-200 to attach to this frame. And still, a steal!I bought this desk from Lowes originally at $225 for the 55'w desk. It had an issue that I called customer service about. They texted me a link to this amazon desk and asked if this was the desk I was calling about. That's when I saw that amazon was half the price as Lowes.Since my current desk felt too long for my space, it was a no brainer to order the 48" on amazon for half the price. I used the original 55"w desk for a full week and loved it with the exception of it being a little wobbly. I put this new 48"w desk together an hour ago and it is so much sturdier! Again the top looks cheap but so worth it.These desks are sooo heavy in the box, but not too heavy to assemble alone. I'm a 45yr old female for reference. The instructions were clear enough and the assembly not bad. It probably took me somewhere between 20-40 min. I opened the box on my porch and brought in the table top pieces first to lighten the load.

Sturdy
Love this desk!! Loved that this desk is adjustable to be able to stand or sit during my work shift. We intended to find a desk that had metal on the bottom and wood on top. The colors are clean and light (white metal on the bottom and a light brown wooden top). It is very sturdy, even on thicker carpet. The desk conveniently has headphone holders and both sides. After plugging in the desk, you are able to move the desk up and down with just a push of a button. There also round holes with caps that sit on the top towards the back for cords to be pulled through for a cleaner look. Great price and good size also. Assembly was not challenging either. Highly recommend!!

Pretty good for the price
My only complaint is that the seam doesn't line up perfectly between the two halves of the top and there is a very small height difference (probably less than 1mm) at a couple spots where they meet... They could likely solve this by adding a couple more dowels and plates between them, but it realistically has zero effect on the functionality of the desk and it just bothers me slightly because I know it isn't perfect... Takes about 10 seconds to go from lowest height setting to the highest, but the highest is pretty high... I am 5'7 and it goes well past where I would ever need it to... Seems sturdy enough for a pressboard top desk and the motor seems like it will be reliable enough... I use it as a light duty workbench for watches, cleaning my guns, and working on electronics and computers... The storage hooks on the sides are a nice touch, Idk how much weight they hold as I use one side for headphones and the other for my VR controllers which are both pretty light... Assembly was quick and very easy, the hardest part is flipping it over by yourself when you are done... It has 3 memory positions which makes going from sitting to standing easy and consistent, and I use the third for getting it close to my face for detailed work... For being the cheapest standing desk in the size I wanted that I could find at the time I bought it, the quality exceeded my expectations... At some point I may make a nicer single piece wood top to replace the pressboard, but that probably won't be because it needs it, but more for aesthetics and to get rid of the seam between the two halves...
