LOVIMAG Rare Earth Magnets, Small Magnets for Fridge, Whiteboard, Science, Crafts, DIY, Office and Locker Magnets-50pack

I recently got back into R/C after being out for more years than a lot of the readers of this, and I'm building a glider from a set of plans. Back in the day I would use a set of magnet to align and hold the ribs in place, instead of using pins, I bought these for that purpose.Now, the magnets I used back then were different, they were around 1" x 3/4" x 1/4", and were not NEARLY as strong as these. While these are much smaller, they would still serve the purpose...and that's where the title comes into play.As I said, the purpose of these was to stick one on each side of the rib to hold it square, and position it over the plans. With the older ones (which I searched for and cannot find any longer-and what drives me crazy is I KNOW I saw a package of them in some store!) there was no problem spacing out the ribs.Found out, REAL quick, not a good idea with these!I measured it - if you sit one of these on a slippery surface and take another one and hold it nearly 4" away from it, you can rotate the one in your hand and the one sitting there will rotate to match polarity.At 3" it will try to move towards your hand, and at 2 1/2" it will shoot across and slam into the one in your hand.If you separate them and let them fly at each other, though, they CAN, and DO shatter. I've had 2 do it already.If you're following along, you might guess that the ribs on a wing span of 50" aren't going to be spaced 5", at LEAST, apart, you may have imagined what happened with that.Fortunately no damage done, and I DID find a work-around by staggering each rib with the magnet at the front of the rib and the next on on the back. Managed to do what I needed.HOWEVER, the "annoying" part continues...Because they are so strong, pray there is nothing metal anywhere near them when you go to set them down somewhere.You know, things like x-acto knives, metal rulers, saws, pins, screws, blades, clamps, hinges with little metal pins, eyeglasses (grabbed the screws in the hinges), or any other magnetic object, because they WILL attack it!Since I have need to use them separately, it's necessary to space them where they won't all clump together, they when I go to use a tool the magnets will jump up and grab it as it passes over them.So it you NEED a strong magnet, these should do ya!

I bought these for my grandson who has ADHD and they help him to stop fidgeting. They are also just fun to build different things. The magnet strength is really strong which allows for better building as structures stay together well.

These magnets did their job for the most part. A couple of them were not magnetic and were thrown away, but the overall value for the number of them that are in the package is good.

My son requested these and loved them, tjeu kept him entertained.However, the finish on them began to peel quickly. I wouldn't reccomended if you are buying to fiddle with as a stress relief.

These are fun to fidget with and use as refrigerator magnets. Decently strong!

These are absolutely wonderful. I bought some years and years ago and wanted more so of course went to Amazon. They're small enough to be unobtrusive, but they really hold items to the fridge beautifully.

Honestly just save your money this item was absolutely garbage total waste of money the magnets were not strong at all they broke after one day of use stay away from this product get the better quality ones.

Awesome for my magnetic whiteboard and side of file cabinet. Very strong and small
