We have lots of issues with ants in our house. I got these lids so we choice start storing all of the food in mason jars instead of their original packaging. We’ve used them for a few months now and they have held up great. We don’t use the little ring seals that came with them. Honestly I lost those the first day. But I’ve never had issues with anything leaking and the lids fit great.

They come with the seals separate from the lids. But so far the two I have used seal tightly after installing the gasket. Gasket is simple to install and can come out for easy sanitizing before next use.Fit all sizes of wide mouth jars, 1/2 pint to 1/2 gallon.

Warped a bit when used in pressure canner.

Not only did these fit, because they are color coded I can meal prep and know what is in each container.Great for overnight oats and various prepped salads with different dressings, taking the guess work out.

Excellent lids with a great seal.

Used the first few times with the gaskets for storing homemade yoghurt in the fridge. I found it hard to remove the gaskets for when I wanted to wash the parts separately to be certain all the milk gunk was cleaned out. I found it necessary to use the pointy end of a very large nail (kept in kitchen for opening the "pour spouts" on coconuts). Can't be good to keep doing that, can it? Chose to use sans gaskets. Works perfectly fine for this application. I still have the gaskets because, well, I do use mason jars for making syrup and a gasket will likely be exactly the ticket for that. These lids remind me very much of the plastic lids Ball used to sell for making freezer jam. Maybe slightly thinner plastic?
