Tiny powerhouse
Been using it for the last 2 days for office work purposes and it performed great so far, works really fast and responds without any delays.Bu the way, it is the smallest computer I’ve ever seen, almost the same size as my iPhone, only about an inch wider and it has 2x USB-C, HDMI and USB-A ports on the device. I am using Khadas dock too that extends to additional 1x USB-C, 2x HDMI, 2x USB-A and ethernet ports at the back and additional USB-A, audio jack and SD card slot at the front with a fingerprint scanner and volume wheel, plus it has speakers. So, it’s a great machine to have when needed to travel between offices and meetings. To add, I found that Khadas also sells external graphics cards that go with their computers which I think I will buy in the future to be able to do video editing and graphics design while away from home.

Very fast and great build quality.
I'm not going to attempt to do a full technical review. If you go into the international reviews and Italian guy has given a full technical review which is very detailed. Instead ill try and point out what I liked and didn't like and anything to look out for.Liked -Amazing build quality.Almost silent.Quick boot times.Windows pre installed.Storage expansion slot for an extra drive.Very fast CPU, memory and drive.Good integrated gfx.Dock and full gfx modules available.Full featured USB ports with video.Didn't like -Should come with a travel case.Lack of ports including ethernet.Neutral -Battery backup seems mostly like a gimmick.Overall the unit is very nice. It's very fast for all non gfx productivity and has good integrated gfx. If you need full 3D gfx a rather expensive expansion is available and if you need more connectivity and convenience a Mind dock is available. The integrated gfx are good enough to play new games at lower settings. It has no problems with Fortnite on medium settings. It's a bit odd the first time you boot up as it goes into the BIOS. I wasn't really sure what to do so I exited and tried pressing the power button and it booted to the windows set up, not completely sure what made it happen and it isn't mentioned in the very brief printed instructions.Without the dock you could overcome some of the connectivity issues with a mini USB dock or things like a ethernet to USB adapter but the basics are covered. For a travel mini pc it should really come with at least a cheap carry case. The battery backup doesn't seem that useful to me. If you wanted to do a lot of hot docking and had the mini docks at home and work it could be good. By default the PC goes into sleep mode after 5s of the power being removed. You can change this with the Mind app so it either goes into hibernation or continues to be powered on. It claims the battery with keep it in sleep mode for 25 hours. If you keep it powered on by battery it will depend on what you are doing ranging from around 40 minutes to just a few minutes, probably expect about 25 to 30 minutes of battery if just doing desktop productivity type tasks.Better options may be available for pure mini PCs but this is very nice if you plan on moving it regularly especially if you buy into the extras.

Do not buy
Avoid this device. Worked great for a week and now whenever I plug it in nothing comes up, just a black screen. Let me down in an important meeting. Not happy.

The mighty mouse of PC's
The khadas Mind Mini PC really is Tiny put packs a punch of a much bigger PC.The performance is fantastic and really belies it's very compact size, The finish and build is superb and is the equal of a certain other fruit based company.khadas have designed a modular PC that works brilliantly in it's own right but also has an upgrade path should you want even more out of it. They have a number of add on modules available including a Mind dock docking station should you want more connections (USB, Video outputs for multiple monitors, 2.5Gb ethernet port, SD card slot) also stereo speakers and finger print scanner. And also a seperate Mind graphics unit with a RTX 4060Ti should you want to use the mind for gaming etc.The khadas mind is beautifully engineered and machined from aluminium to a really high quality finish, it comes with a wall power supply and USB-C cable. On first power up it strangely entered the PC Bios but after pressing the front power button it then powered into the Windows 11 login and setup screen and it was up and running within a couple of minutes (one very slight thing I would have liked is Windows 11 Pro rather than the standard version though you can upgrade through Windows itself at a cost)The Mind really packs a punch which is no surprise as its running a Intel i7-1360P and 32Gb of DDR5 5200Mbps ram with a 1Tb NVME drive (there is also a removeable cover underneath where you can install another 2230 NVMe drive).I was comparing it initially to a older intel chip PC and the Mind is blisteringly fast doing every day tasks like unzipping large 60Gb+ files and editing some videos and images. I was also surprised even the though I was taxing the CPU it got quite warm but not hot and when the fan kicked it it is still reasonable quiet, there is an intake vent on the right hand side and outlet on the left.It also has a built in battery which allows for hot swapping from one location to another if you wanted to use it in the office and then maybe take it elsewhere to finish off your work it keeps everything active for upto 24hours instead of having to completely shut your work down which is a very nice feature.Another great use is a media PC sat under the TV as its so small you can hide it away though to be honest its far too nice looking to be hidden away.It comes with the Mind app pre-installed which allows easy update of bios and firmware and I really appreciated that it didn't come with loads of bloatware installed unlike most manufacturers do.If you are looking for a ultra compact high performance PC then don't think about it just get the Mind.
