Pretty awesome, actually!
I ordered this from Boxwave on a Sunday, it shipped out on Monday and arrived Wednesday, so great service there. As for the product itself, so far I'm really impressed.Appearance wise, it appears to be well made, quality materials and all. It's of average weight. I have a Targus stylus which is a bit heavier, and I have a couple cheaper generic ones which weigh less but in turn feel chintzy. The brushed metallic silver is nice, smooth, but not slippery. The other parts are a shiny chrome metal, including the clip, which is nice, as those are usually the first thing to break when made of cheap plastic. The leash system is nice, but if you don't care for it you can easily remove it. There's a second longer leash included that would work well for iPad users, personally I wont use it, I'll use the shorter one to keep from losing the stylus when not in use, and detach the stylus while using. The ball/tip itself is interesting. Not the typical black rubbery tip. It looks the same as the black rubbery ones, only is made of a silver mesh fabric-like material. Same type of feel, but it is a little bit firmer, which I like. I always hated how the Targus stylus would collapse when any kind of pressure was applied. This one will collapse also, but it takes more pressure than the Targus. As for performance... This is where I'm most impressed! I have a screen protector, so most styli aren't as responsive as they probably could be, which makes precision things like drawing difficult at times. THIS stylus doesn't seem to be hindered at all, the iPad reads it easily with very little pressure. Noticeably less pressure than the other black rubber tipped styli I've used.It also glides much smoother on the surface, it's very pleasant feeling. I think this will create less hand strain over time as well. That and it needing less pressure. As for durability of the tip, I haven't had it long, so I can't attest for sure. But just looking at it I would think the fine fabric mesh would be more durable than the soft rubbery material. But we'll see.Overall, I think this stylus is absolutely worth the $11 (including shipping) that I paid for it. Realistically, I think it would still be a great purchase even if it cost more. I saw some reviewers saying they paid around $20 for it. It's a REALLY great stylus, in my opinion it's still worth it at that price point. If you are looking for a stylus, I haven't tried the pogo, or the metal tipped ones, but of the softer ball tip kind, this one is by far the best. And it's a really good deal right now, at around just $8-9 dollars with free super saver shipping. If I lose this stylus, I will definitely be buying another one of the same kind.

One great stylus
This is the third stylus I have received with the unique microfiber tip. I must say in general the micro fiber tip is the best option. It allows for a smooth glide across the surface of the device and "connect" really well with the surface. Another huge advantage of having that fiber tip is it writes at an angle very well, meaning you can write like you would normally with a pen. In general I say if you are getting a stylus try a microfiber first, they work, they last (never had one break on me), and they are usually priced well. Now for this actual produce I find the extra length very nice. It gives it a more pen like feel to it, however it is pretty light, and I know some people want some heft to it. I personally don't mind having it light as it still feels like a normal pen to me. This particular stylus has a firmer tip than passed styli I have used with the microfiber (New Trent was the brand also very good). I personally prefer this firm tip as it has a more pen like feel to it when writing, instead of a squishy point. The only reason I am giving it 4 out of 5 is that sometimes it requires a bit more pressure than I am used to with my other styli, however it is not excessive and is more of a getting used to thing rather than product flaw. Plus it might be nice if some sort of cap came with it, even if the tip is very durable it is nice for peace of mind.In conclusion I say any stylus with the microfiber tends to work just fine, but this is thus far my favorite of them all.And a tip on note taking with a stylus is try and just write and not think about how you are writing and it should come out nicely, it works for me and others who have tried it. MAny think they do not work for taking notes, but i disagree. I use it with my Biology, Astronomy, and Genetics class and it works great. I recommend the app Penultimate as it writes well in that app and it fantastic for any sort of diagram that needs to be drawn.I hope you found this review helpful, and best of luck finding a stylus that works for you. Have a good one!
