Plano Storage Trunks

These trucks are exactly what I needed.

SO FAR / SO GREATIt is a lot bigger than expected, even though I did read the dimensions. If you load it with ammo you, it will definitely hold more than you will want to carry. I do have other ammo boxes stacked on top of it so we will see if holds up.

Rain proof and shuts tight, may not be air-tight (don't submerge). I use it to store many things from critters in the barn/garage.

Works great and although not completely water tight did a fantastic job at keeping my things dry I’ve had it in the back of my truck for 3 months in Washington weather.

We used to use a lot of clear Sterilite storage bins to organize our things. Although they look great, the plastic gets beaten up pretty badly in a hurry, especially in our house.Recently, I've switched over to these Plano totes after I picked up a deeply discounted pair in orange at Bass Pro Shops because the plastic looks tougher than the Sterilite. I'm no longer concerned with any clear plastic becoming cloudy with surface scratches. Also, they stack more stably because the lids are designed to bear more weight. I always keep an empty pair of the smaller size in my truck. Lately, I've been putting them on the grocery cart when we go shopping in lieu of reusable bags. I don't mind looking like a Doomsday Prepper stepping out of our bomb shelter to stock up on food before the fall of civilization.Anyhow, these storage totes are versatile, reasonably sturdy, and even provide a small degree of protection from the elements. Plano makes these style totes in two other sizes. We also own the next size up, but I prefer this smaller size because I believe that they're structurally more rigid and force us to pack more efficiently. I absolutely recommend these storage containers. I wanted them in Charcoal and only Amazon had then in-stock at the time, but shop around for the best price, especially if color is unimportant to you.

Like most of their stuff its durable, it has good latches, and is lockable. The holes for the lock r a tad small and both sides must be secured in order to keep from being opened. They r not water tight but any handy person could stick on a thin layer of cork or foam to the edge easily. In general u cant go wrong with these versatile boxes just be careful with the size u need. Do the math and figure out the volume u need, the pictures can be a bit deceiving. Worth the buck....

This is a great storage that works great for lots of different situations. We have several and use them for every day vehicle storage as well as for each of our out door hobbies. ITs a good size for the standard emergency items you need in your car like jumper cables, flashlights, water bottles, spare fluids, first aid kit and blanket. Big enough for what you need but not oversized to have too much. For camping we have one for the "kitchen" and another for general camp supplies.The lid closes tight but doesn't have a rubber seal around the edge so it's not fully water/moisture proof.Almost strong enough for a full sized adult to use as a seat. Almost... Kids and smaller grown ups are fine

Smoke color blends in with the tan carpet color, tiedowns make it secure. Works great to keep emergency gear and extinguisher from rolling around.
