SmartCat Ultimate Litter Box, Blue

This litter box is very nice if you are two cat household. It is very large and accomodates my two kittens very well. The high sides are wonderful considering kittens poor aim and covering skills! I do wish it came in other colors. I also think it should come with a scoop that accomodates its more rounded corners. It is very sturdy and I do feel it is worth the $20 price tag.UPDATE: This litter box fits nicely in the Merry Products Pet Washroom Bench. However, I found for my kittens a flat top litter box worked better. So, I took this litter box and placed it near my 18 year old cats litter box and she chose to start using this one. It is easy for her to get into and very roomy and since her aim isn't as good as it use to be there are no more messes. She is very happy. Also, this litter box is made of much thicker plastic and does not give way at all so it would work great for heavier cats as well.UPDATE: Replaced all my litter boxes with these. I now have three throughout my house. What a wonderful difference. Not nearly as much cleanup and the high back is great! Love these! Well made and easy to clean.

OMG!! This is the BEST litter box I have had in my 67 years of being a cat owner/lover. It's nice and high so litter is not getting scratched out onto the floor. It's very spacious and the best feature is that there are no 90 degree angled corners. Thus allowing the litter scooper to reach everywhere and clean out the waste. It's so pretty, clean blue look and smooth so that the clumps however damp they are do NOT stick to the bottom.I wish I had found this years ago. They named it correctly...it IS ..the Smartcat Ultimate Litter Box! The absolute 'ultimate' in litter boxes. My cat took to it immediately.

Bought 4 new litter boxes, these were two of them. They are plenty big, very slick and nice, and plenty high at the sides to prevent scattering litter, but low in the front where they enter and exit. Would also make a great bathtub for a baby, especially if you lay a hand towel on the bottom so it wont be slippery. Would make nice bins for the pantry to hold potatoes, onions, etc. Or a bin to hold ice and drinks for a cookout, a tub to wash dishes if your sink doesnt hold water too well and you have no dishwasher, or to soak your feet in, and I'm sure there are many more uses I have not thought of.UPDATE: Had to throw these out. I hate wasting money, but the fronts were just too low, and there was too much litter being thrown onto the carpet. Very messy. They also didnt seem to know how to cope with the oval shape. Caught two of them hanging their butts over the side! Lol! OMG

I've had this litter box for years. I just purchased a new one for my kitten. You can't have to many litter boxes with a kitten. Lol But it's an excellent box I highly recommend it. :)

I received the litter box today and immediately set it up for kittybaby (don't judge me). I was excited to get it and try it out, and I wasn't sure if it would be high enough around the sides and front. I have a kitty who, for whatever feline reason, likes to relieve herself right up on the very edge of the box, and as high up as felinely possible. We'd been using a litter box with lid, and then I had the realization that it's probably like a port-a-potty for cats, so began the search for a high sided litter box.This one caught my eye because it was really pretty and very blue. It looked spacious, sturdy, and hopefully high enough. It did not disappoint! I got to see kittybaby try it out for the first time, and she seemed to be really indifferent...which I think is a good thing.I didn't think it took too much more litter than usual to adequately fill the pan, and it was super easy to clean with a regular scoop.She had plenty of space to do her thing in there, and the sides seemed to be more than high enough for the business to stay in the box and not on the walls and floor. I was a little worried about how low that dip in the front would be and whether or not kittybaby would try to pee over the front. She probably will, but only time will tell. So far, I'm really happy with this litter box, and I'm hoping for the best going forward.

As a breeder of Maine Coons cats I have had every litter box ever made.I was looking for a pan where the clumping litter didn't stick like cement to the sides and bottom. I most recently used the large Rubbermaid containers but they have ridges in the bottom.The actual floor space on this litter box is NOT as large as the regular Jumbo size cat boxes, and when it arrived I was a bit surprised as it looks larger in the picture. BUT having said that, it is large enough and deep enough. I don't know what it is made of but the wet litter just slides off, no sticking to the box at all, unlike what I was using. So it is serving the purpose I bought it for. It's also $10 cheaper than jumbo litterboxes and very sturdy.The only problem is the lower lip in the front, where litter can still fly out of it. I solved this by putting the lip against the wall. As the cats still have no problems getting in and out the higher sides, and the sides are substantially higher.I would recommend this litterbox.
