Fun set!
Such a fun set. The lights and motion make it really cool. Lego directions are east to follow. Took us about three afternoons to put together.

An absorbing and satisfying project. Lotsa fun! Highly recommend!
Fantastic toy! My granddaughter (age 10) had no trouble putting it together--by herself. The greatest difficulty for her were 1) rounding up 6 AA batteries; and 2) orienting them correctly. We were all so excited to see it illuminated and turning--in both directions! Refinements for manufacturer: The very topmost two gears need some frequent adjusting so that they teeth and gears securely interlock, as sometimes they don't. The "off" position should have some sort of stop/resistance so it's not missed in going from forward to reverse rotation. And 3) most of the "chairs" on the wheel rotate as the wheel turns. Some don't. More clearance needed?

11 year old loved it
This was such a treat to see finished and running. Granddaugther loved building this and felt she accomplished something when she turned the switch on and around and around the wheel went.

Took a while putting together.
Got this for my 9y/o son who loves robotics for father, son bonding project. It took a while putting it together with small parts and text (hubby has iritis issues). Overall, pretty cool project, nonetheless. 😎

Next Level Building
I got this for my niece who I've been getting building blocks and LEGOs for, this is the next level for her. Even at 5, she impressively got it built in no time. It's a great bang for the buck, with an incredible price. The set was a solid build, albeit with a bit of challenges, the directions and piece quality being my biggest problem/concern. Nothing insurmountable for me, having built sets for decades, but when made for kids, quality ease should be front and center.

Might need help building
If child likes Legos this is really awesome. I would say maybe between 12 and up depending on the child of course they may need some help.
