The best.
These make setup and take down of lines, tarps, etc. so much faster and they get tight and stay tight. Been using them for years and just love them. One of the best yet underrated pieces camping gear out there. Everyone who camps should have these in their kit.

Cool, time-saving tool, very helpful for camping.
We ordered these because we saw something similar at REI but balked at the price. There is no question that this CamJam paracord-clip will come in very handy when we're setting up the campsite, which we do frequently in the warmer months. Until we had these, we were basically replicating what they can do but our process took a lot more effort, with much trial and error. So these clips with the built-in paracord clamp are going to be great. For example, in the picture I attached, you'll see the red arrows are the kludge we worked out to get what we wanted done. The green arrow represents the better solution, which we can and will do next time now that we have these nice adjustable CamJam clips. Finally, there's one more detail to mention. I can see us converting these three strings, with CamJam clips at each end into six strings, where each string has one CamJam clip on one end, and a slipknot loop on the other end of the paracord. At least in our case we think that will work very well for many situations because we don't necessarily need to have a carabiner/clip at each end of the cord to benefit from the great and convenient adjustability the CamJam cord tighteners provide. In other words, I can see us using a slipknot to loop our paracord around a tree branch or through one of the loops in our tent, and then use the clip with CamJam on the other end to benefit from how much easier it will be to cinch tight the cord and adjust it to how we like it. A+

Misleading photos and really cheap construction
The pictures imply that each card has two camlock carabiners and two ropes, but reality is two camlocks and one rope connecting them. This was an issue in my application as I needed 6 separate carabiners. The next issue is that these are cheap cheap cheap. The cord stretches, the cord diameter is so small that it can wedge behind the camlock, rendering it useless in normal usage, and the cams themselves are terrible and the cheap plastic doesn’t grip the rope that well even when you avoid letting the rope go behind the cam. You pull it tight but the rope reverses half an inch or inch until the cam finally grabs and by then it is loose again. This coupled with too much stretch in the cord and it’s just not good at all for any real application… may be good for some things where you don’t need tight ropes but not if you do need it tight.

These are wonderful light duty securing clips
I have been using figure 9 carabiners for many years and they are great, but getting a solid, tight, and consistent quick connect can sometimes be a challenge. The CamJam tighteners are a different ballgame - they just speed the process up and allow for maximum tautness with minimum effort. For camping purposes, these are a dream for quick connecting tarps to tie down. We used these to secure shade tarps around our deck to allow for some privacy and to cut the incredible brightness of the sun that sets through our back porch. A couple of deeply sunk eye bolts, some well tied knots on the grommets of our shade tarps, and the CamJams at every connection point made it simple. Even more important, it is a breeze to disassemble the shades and drop them - just a slight tug on the CamJam and the cord releases and we can drop the shades and enjoy the sun. Tied a knot on the extra pull through cord and we just grab it and pull it tight when we want to put the shades back in place.I love them - I keep them on hand for projects - and they are very versatile. Please don’t consider these heavy duty - they are not metal construction in the locking mechanism. There are sturdier and more structurally steady items in the CamJam family that will hold a significantly larger amount of tension with all metal construction. These are light duty and constructed as such.

Might not be exactly what you think
These are great. The only thing is that there is line attached to them like it says, but it’s one 2meter piece with a jam cam at each end, which is pretty useless. Still a good product.UPDATE ***. Well, went to use these for the second time and three of them have lost their spring action that keeps the cam closed against the line. We previously bought two from REI and really liked them. Be aware these have the same name, but they are not the same. These seem to be a high quality plastic, not metal.ANOTHER UPDATE. We used them again this past weekend and another can jam has lost its spring. So, 4 out of the 6 have lost their spring that closes the cam against the line. You can close the cam against the line with your finger, and then line tension will keep it in place, but you shouldn’t have to.2 stars because of longevity, or lack of it.

Easy to Use
I was looking for something easy to use for beach day and camping outings where I’d rig rain tarps and/or otherwise shade fabric. I use these on the boat, in the woods & really all over! Very easy to use, cheap, and durable! The length is perfect for what I’m using them for.
