NutriSource High Plains Select Grain-Free Dry Dog Food, Beef, Trout and Turkey Meal, 26LB

We mix her kibble with other ingredients, such as fresh veggies and sometimes fruit, cooked meats. She does very well on this kibble. Not so much " filler" that cheaper dog foods have.

We researched the best grain free dog food after our dog was NOT gaining weight after a year of RAW diet. Vet was extremely happy with her blood work after giving our Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd/Akita MIX this food. (We previously had a dog that had diarrhea for most of her life because of grains in her food. Duh! We had no idea and wished we did have the knowledge during her life.) We decided to NOT have a repeat with this dog and she's doing so very well!! We would recommend this food for those who want a grain free food.

I was in search of a dog food that is grain free without peas. Most grain free foods these you find of late on the market are mostly peas or potatoes and I don't believe that to be good quality or good nutrition for my dogs. My Miniature Australian Shepherd loves this NutriSource kibble!

Advertised as 30 lbs bag of food but the bag was actually 26 lbs of food.

The dog food had a two inch cut/tear in the bag. None of the kibble had come out. But I was disappointed that the bag was shipped to me in this condition.

Our pet loved the product. Important to me, it came in a very appropriate sized shipping container - a rare thing for the environmentally conscientious.
